I sigh and begin to apologise "I'm sorry Rogue, it's just that... well I have been thinking alot about Jean lately during our missions. Ever since we broke up I have been thinking about her all the time."

Laying back down on the bed, I finish "And now that she's with Xavier for the next month or two, I've had to give up trying to fix things and try to move on. It's just that I feel so alone right now with her and me not being together anymore."

He has the same kind of bones as wolverine. And has the healing factor also. He has the power to see in the dark.

HIS STORY:

At the age of 3 slashes parents were killed in a car accident and he was moved to a orphanage. At the age of 5 slash was adopted by a program named weapon x. Slash was taught there how to use his powers and how to fight all kinds of styles. At the age of ten he was there best student there. When he passed all the tests and was 17 they put animantiam bones in him with claws on every finger nail that are about 10 inches long that can come in and out. At the age of 18 he was so sick of the place and tried to escape but was caught. He kept trying but got caught all the time until one night the place was attacked by a swarm of vampires came and every one was kill but me and two of the students there. But the other two were turned into vampires. Slash fought them off until a vampires hunter named blade showed up and help him defeat most of vampires. The two that were turned escaped with some other vampires. And blade asked him to join him. With his night vision powers Slash was with blade trying to stop vampires at night for three years. But one night there was to many of them and blade and slash were separated and slash never seen blade again. So he was alone and stopped tracking down vampires. He now lives in New York at the age of 22.

(im back from fishin...caught me a big ole muskey...and um...some perch and um....lots of blue gills. and um....yeah. im too lazy right now to read all of the posts, ill be on later to read them. but don't forget me ya'll. im here, we'llj ust pretend ol' ororo is just watchin from afar, and damn straight, you even put the moves on cyclops and you'll have a tornadoe up your.....oh, sorry. no, if you want dibs on him you got to get through me first. actually it is up to renegade. so am i right to assume that everyone is still in the pool area, or didn't i read far enough? well regardless, ill just not put the location in my post. and i heard the word gambit somewhere? lol...nevermind. the accent that is all it is...)

we were interrupted, (this was before) so i climbed out of the pool and dried myself off. i listened tentively as i ran a brush through my hair. i used the wind to dry me off a bit, and i slipped on a pair of jean shorts. i stood over near the group, just listening. i sized up the new fella along with a few of the new x-men who i had the privaledge of meeting earlier this week. some had potential, just lacked ambition. i missed the old crew. but i was sure, whether i liked it or not, these guys would grow on me.

Lava, everyone's back in the house after hearing Armists story and right now Cyclops is talking with Rogue in his room. Uh oh.

OOC: Actually, Tolkien's elves were not much shorter, if at all, to men...just a little tidbit of info.

"Excuse me, nightray...I must have wandered into the wrong wing. I was looking for Cyclops' room..."

"Yeah, he's upstairs. You really shouldn't talk to us X-Men like you were talking to JayDen."

"I realize that he is an X-Man for a reason, but I feel as if Xavier made an error of judgement by letting him join so quickly...perhaps a tenure on X-Force under Cable's iron fist would have done the trick..." nightray only looks at me with confusion. "I know much more about what's going on than you probably do...now, if you would excuse me, I have to go see Cyclops," I say with a smile. I leave leaving nightray even more confused than before and I head upstairs...my strong ears pick up on Cyclops and Rogue's conversation before I knock on the door. Cyclops opens the door shortly after I knock.

"Excuse me, Mr Summers, I did not mean to intrude upon you and Rogue..."

"No, you were no intruding on anything, Armist, what's on your mind?"

"I'm concerned, sir. Toron is a threat unlike any you have faced before. I sent me into the future with no trouble at all...and he was being generous. I do not believe all of the X-Men should go on this mission. I do not fear their capabilities, but for their lives. Some are not ready for this, Cyclops. I suggest that you, myself, Storm, and Wolverine should go on this one...I live out the powerful Rogue only to hold camp while we do the mission...just in case none of us come back...however, it is up to you. I will comply with any decision you make..."

Armist made a good point about everything. Nodding at his suggestion, I tell him "I think it would be better if we take Nightray with us since he already has alot of expierence. Like Wolverine, he's alot older then he looks."

Armist considers what I said for a moment then tells me "If you feel that is best, then I shall go along with your decision."

Smiling, I tell him "We'll move out later today. Right now we'll all need some time to get ready. I'll inform you when we'll move out."

Armist nods at this and tells me "Very well Mr. Summers."

He leaves the room again as I turn to Rogue with a smile and ask "What do you feel like doing till we leave?"

I slowly begin to get a bit tired, and deside to grab a drink. I yelled out "STOP" and walked into the little sitting room by the Danger Room, to my surprise there sat Violet sitting in there, i didn't know why she was, but i looked down at one of the newist X-Men, she had a body to die for, her hair was beautiful, and her eyes were like that of a goddess, i went over to the fridge and grabbed a bottle of water, and some cigarettes off the table sitting next to it, "do you mind?" i guesture to the cigarettes, she replys "no not at all." with a little smile, i sit down, grabbing a towel I wipe off some of my sweat from my face, i pull out a Cigarette and light it, then put it in my mouth as i open my water, i take a quick drink, replacing my cigarette, and smoke some.

Sorry all, I'm leaving for the weekend and I won't be able to posy until probably Sunday night. You guys can do whatever you want until then and can even take off on the mission...however, please don't bring Toron until I come back...I have him pretty well defined since he's in the story I've been writing off and on for the last year. Thanks..Renegade, while you're not busy doing "other things" you can control Armist for the time being. Take care all.

After eating my breckfist I go to my room to git my sniping riphil and go out to the targit rang. I stand thise the destins from the targits as the normil shoter and lay on my stomick to sedy the gun on my arm and take aim throw the skope. I fire five ronds then reloud and fire five mor not evin bothering to check the targit. After the tenth round I stand and teliport over to the targit seeing nin hols in the center the tenth an inch off I swer softly.

I put a nuw targit up and go back to wer I wos to do it agen.

The Snub starring JayDen

Sitty in the ready room I could not help but see Scott " I am still mad that Jean thought JayDen has a better ass than me" Summers aka our cheerless leader Cyclops and Armist and I get severly pissed off at the suggestion of a mission without me. I stalk down the hallway and stop in front of Scotts room and with some energy contained in my body. I blow the door down and "Say how dare you, you sexual repressed sonavabitch. From the minute I set foot in this building you have been on my ass. Why I don't know maybe because you thought Jean and I had something going on. Is that it Scotty you thought I was fucking your wife? Well guess what Scotty I did not screw her. Yet you did not believe us anyways. I can not believe this. I am one of the best damn fighters on the entire roster and you listen to this damn Lucky Charm Leprechaun with a nail file as a weopon and try to leave me out of a mission. How dare you indeed?"

Then I look over at the Armist and say " As for you, you damn Keebler Elf. I heard what you said to Nightray and you were right about one thing. I am a X-Man for a reason and not because I like to puke green tights unlike some people here. I am a X-Men becuase I can handle myself just as good as anyone else here. Oh yeah next time you ever insuinate that I go down to any of the 'B-List' teams I am going to make you wish I shot you this morning. Why because unlike some other people I am that damn good. Capieche."

With that I stalked out of Cykes room leaving the door as noting but metal kindling in my wake as I make my way to the Danger I accidently knock over Storm. After helping her up and apologizing I make my way to the Danger Room cursing up a blue streak and reconsidering Xavier and Storm's offer to stay.

OOC: You were walking to the room but got knocked down by JayDen. Now you're in the hallway. And can't a guy have a moment of peace around this place? First Armist walks in when I'm swiming with Storm and then he walks in when I'm talking to Rogue and now JayDen blows down the door when I'm trying to talk with Rogue again!

IC: After listening to JayDens ranting on about how good he is, I begin to wish I was a lunatic like Logan. At least then I would be able to go behind Xaviers back and fire his ass.

Standing up, I tell Rogue as I leave the room "I need to talk with him." Walking out the hole in the wall that was once my door, I see Storm walking towards me.

"What happened with JayDen?" she asks with concern very obvious in her voice. She always did care about the other members, even if she shouldn't.

I explain to her "He's just mad about not being taken on the next mission. I was going to have him and Violet stay behind because they just graduated from the academy and I didn't think they were ready for a mission like this. I'll talk with him."

With that I make my way to the Danger Room where I see JayDen inside with Logan and Violet.

He turns to me and begins "What do you want now? Going to give me a lecture?"

I shake my head "I'm here to give you a chance to prove to me that you're ready for the next mission coming up. If you can defeat the advanced training course of the Danger Room by yourself, then I'll let you join the next mission. What do you say?"

A grin appears across his lips.

Let the Games begin

OCC: Hey even thought I knocked Storm down I helped her up and apologized like a gentleman. Basically the way I see it the X-Men have gotten along a lil too well in the past so I decided that I wanna be outcast among outcasts. JayDen is gonna be the guy that whether you love him or hate him you are always gonna have an opinion about him. And by the way JayDen is a former member of the NYC branch of the Assassain Guild he did not graduate from the academy. Xavier and Storm approached him and asked him to join and he accepted. Ok that is the history back to the action:


IC:
Ruby Red (cyclops) catches me just as I was going to walk into the Danger and I brace myself for the lecture of a lifetime. I do not know why being left out made me upset I just thought I was being overlooked and it upset me. Well that oversized Pokeman doll Armist saying that I was not good enough to be an X-Man pissed me off.

I look at at the One Eyed Monster ( no no that one Cyclops hehe) and say " Whaddya want now?"

He goes on to say if I get through the Danger Room course in advance training mode by mission then I can go on the mission. I want to laugh in his face, but instead I flash him in a evil grin


<A few minutes later>

I stand in the Dangerroom and "borrow" a lil of Ruby Red's mutant energy and power up while at the same time create a powerful bioenergy storm inside the Dangerroom. Cyclops yells down from the Dangerroom and says "nice light show no let's get down to work"

IC: Taking a seat in the upper deck with Logan and Violet, I speak into the mic "You ready for it, JayDen?"

He yells back up "Stop talking and let's get going."

Grining at his confidence, I turn the Danger Rooms level all the way up from normal to it's hardest setting for one person(it has different settings for groups).

Once it's ready, I turn it on "Here you go."

The room came alive as suddenly robot droids and metal claws came out of the woodwork at him. JayDen charges up and begins to rip through all of the quickly as they attack.

Had to admit, the kid had what it took to play with the big boys.

OOC: Thought you'd want to control how well he does in the training course, Phoenix.

OCC: It is late so I will post tommorrow night or afternoon Renegade if ya want ya can give me a royal asskicking but please let me write how the Danger Room thing ends. However I can not do it now because I am falling asleep as I am typing so Rene you can write most of it........ but let me write the end and trust me it will surprise you.

the danger room, having just graduated meant that xavier finally thought i had enough control over power. unfortunately my power worked much better on people than robots as i did the exercise, wondering why Jayden was getting so angry about being left behind. After all Storm didn't trust me yet and her and One eye were too wrapped up in each other to pay attention to much else

OOC: You can still join the thread Cowboy. Just tell us who you'll be and we'll try to work you in.

Phoenix, as I write this I'm to busy to give you a realy detailed scene but if I get more time to do this I'll either edit it into something better or do a second post.

IC: Armist, Storm, Nightray and Rogue walk intot he upper deck of the Danger Room with me and the others as we watch JayDens match up. He is able to take out the first 12 with no trouble but then he gets cought in a metal tentacle that delivers bolts into his body. JayDen is able to keep in any pain that he's feeling and destroys the tentacle with a few blasts from his hands.

A few more come at him. He flips and dodges them all as energy beams fire from all over his body to destroy the metal enemys. Pieces of burnt steel fall to floor, as JayDen begins to power up a ball of energy nearly the size of his body and fires it down the room. All of the Danger Room adversarys that were coming at him are completly wiped out in that huge blast.

The kid was definatly X-Man material when it came to his fighting, but he still needs to prove himself for this next mission.

Another door opens in the Danger Room, as six robot doubles of some of our worst enemys charge into the room. The Sabertooth robot charges forth and is quickly destroyed by one energy punch from JayDen that rips through it's body.

We weren't able to duplicate their powers, but the robot doubles were still able to act out their fighting skills. The group watches on as the other five clones made their way to him.

OOC: Like I said, low on time but I'll try to do a better one if I get back on later today.

History: Grew up as a rich kid in the suburbs having strong morals, used to be a very righteous person until his parents died in a plane crash and since then has become an antithesis of a hero. After "escaping" from a foster home hears about Xavier's school and decides to make the long journey to find people who can help.

Personality: Respectful,apathetic with occasional fits of rage.

Let's ready to rumble

Getting through the first level was not too tough, but X-Men villians were a tough challenge I got Sabretooth down quickly because he is the one villian whose fighting style is more dangerous than his powers. After most of the Robots are distroyed the room shakes shifts and suddenly I realized the environment changed as well instead of the city background that was there before I was in the Savage Lands jungle. Ah Cyke must realize my being a Native New Yorker I know how to work the cities as well as anyone, the jungle however was gonna be tough not to mention since he switched to holograms this is gonna tough. Oh well if our brainless leader thinks he got me this time boy do I have a surprise for him. Suddenly a Sauron hologram flier around and knocks me over on my ass. As I try to regan my composure Avalanche shaves the ground with a Richter breaking earthquake. While I am down I am damn near scortched by Pyro and a fireball. Absorbing some of the kenetic energy from the fireball and convert it into more power for me as I unleases a biobomb on the area. Killing the Sauron, Pyro, Avalanche holograms and even killing the Toad and Post holograms who were setting up to attack. As I managed to climb out of the crater than used to be several trees I notice that at the top of the hole was a pair of boots. I say size 14 clodhoppers legs hairer than mine and reaks of beer and cheap cigar since Sabretooth is dead that must mean Wolverine.

I pull Logan leg down and while he is down I begin to power it with the energy blasts. Which do not seem to be killing him but it wearing him down. However before I could go any farther I get attacked from behind by Rogue. I see Ruby Red's plan I see pit me against my teamates to see how I would react oh well I guess I got to do what I got to do. The X-Men work well as a team and proceed to open several cans of whoopass on me. Dammit Storm is making the weather more dark and violent with monsoon rains and hurricane force winds making standing my own ground too tough for me to handle.

However I refuse to go down which is making the real Cyclops up in the control heavily pissed as mostly the entire team has gathered to see me go to war in the Danger Room. Cyke feeling embarrassed by my getting this far turns off the sercurity barrier and saftey precaussions which means now the Dangerroom is armed on extremely lethal force which means these holograms have carte blanche can now kill me. The others do not like his decisions but he says "If I am as good as he thinks he is he will make it out alive..............barely"

Suddenly notice now the holograms are not holding back the Elementa hologram and the Storm hologram are really beginning to hurt me. Damn that means someone in the booth has turned off the saftey parimeters. Dammit only Logan turns off the saftey parameters. This shit can kill me. Gee I wonder who could have turn them off like it is not so damn obvious.


OCC: Renegade I give you opportunity to whoop my ass, but do not let this end yet I have a few surprises for you.

As I sit down in the cab and I attempt to give the cabbie directions to the Acedemy I wonder how it will go...I mean its been so long since i had the chat with Charles and after the whole Bastion incident that theyve went through Im not sure how i'll be accepted. Even from what i've seen on the news reports about Magnus, the mutant known as Magneto, gaining control of the colony of Genosha it seems like the UN has started trying to cope with "us". As I collect my thoughts and look out the window I realize that it wont be long until i'm there; at the back of my mind I keep telling myself this is the right thing to do, but I still wonder if I should've called Emma Frost instead of going on my own initiative. I hand the cabbie $50 bucks and tell him to keep the change, grab my bag and proceed up the steps to the door. I hesitate a moment before I ring the bell, at first there is no answer so I scan the building for any thoughts. Thats when i realize there is more to this place than meets the eye, it seems that Xavier thought of everything, I figure that one of the "A-Team" will be watching the security system and come in a bit....but for now i sit...and wait.

OOC: Kinda busy to bring in CowBoys character so whoever wants to can do it for me.

IC: As JayDen continues his exercise, I notice another person on the monitors outside the complex. I asked the others "Where we supposed to get a new trainie today?"

The others shrug when Storm brings up "I believe Xavier had talks with some possible recruits awhile back. This could be one of them."

Sighing, I tell them "I need to stay here and work with JayDen, can somebody let the new guy in for me?"

"I will" said someone from the group. Didn't see who it was but they were off right away. After that, I turn back to watch JayDen continue to go through the course.

(sorry, another visit to the hospital. i think im beginning to like it there.)


i watched on. i had a signal to fight against the new guy. i did, i kept it light and easy. rain, and a few flashes of lightening, i dropped the temperature thirty degrees. my eyes glowed. i stood next to cyclops. "we need to lighten up on him. he is faring well. allow someone to take him on one vs. one. true skills are in battling your equal." i raised my eyebrow. "and who do you think could match him? he is definately a novice, potential, he has it. he needs to be trained." i sent a gust of wind to knock him on his ass. he glared at me. i kept my face locked in a calm stare.
