The Un-Isolated Un-Blurt Thread

I see him tomorrow. Hope it's a good visit. Got him his new phone as his other one was thrown out by mistake. Found the chocolate he's been wanting so badly, too. Not sure what else to bring. Need to wait and see if he needs clothes or not.

I keep missing the way things used to be. Those days are gone and I have to accept this situation. There is no choice.

Yes, I understand, and I also understand how hard it is to accept new situations.

I love the one with the kitty and the blinds above. I was making dinner tonight and I heard NN call from the living room, "Did you see that gif Twinkle posted with the kitty and the blinds?"
I said yes and then I heard him narrating the gif from the cat's perspective. :D

I'm the luckiest person in the world (loving mate, comfy life, free drugs, no work) and I'm often suicidally depressed. What's wrong with me?

Life is too easy? Maybe volunteering somewhere with people who are unlucky might help.

Are you okay? It's one of two posts I've seen you say this sort of thing today and I wouldn't want to leave it be if you were really looking for someone to reach out to you.
I hope you are alright. :rose:

If you are serious, I would suggest looking into the possibility that you have an actual chemical imbalance that needs to be addressed. I have a dear friend that has been extremely happy for a long time, married to a great man, involved in lots of activities that bring her joy, likes her job- but if she goes off certain meds then she begins to have very real issues with suicidal tendencies. It has nothing to do with any unhappiness she feels about herself or her life, it's just a chemical issue she deals with, so she is very vigilant with her pills.
Maybe you can make an appointment with a nurse practitioner in your area to talk about possible chemical issues you might have. They can prescribe medications as well.
