I don't know why you won't stay at my place. I have a bed and a air bed that you and your husband can sleep on. It's not an inconvenience at all for me. Plus we can be together and talk. I just hope you don't go over to her house as it's none of her fucking business what is going on in OUR family.
Please, I hope you change your mind about this as I cannot stand her. She's a nosy cunt pickle with no regard for people's feelings.

Finally finished emptying my dad's apartment. He's also allowed to stay in rehab until we find him a place.

He's doing better and I saw him walk without his cane and he didn't fall! Wahoo! He's still not all there mentally. I did notice he's more alert in the morning then any other time. He's making slow progress but it's progress.

Now that I did all the physical work my sister is taking care of his papers and things. Fine with me. I've made enough phone calls.

So, although this has been a VERY rough ride for me, things are looking better than they did a week ago. Our dad will have to live in assisted living but he'll have quality of life which relieves me so greatly.

There's so many things I miss that he used to do but, I have those memories. That's most important.

Yes, it is! I'm so glad to see him walking around without falling. Huge relief. He got too distracted while I was there. *laughs* I'll be seeing him again on Wednesday.

Just relieved he's doing well and I don't have to worry about him falling in the dreadful apartment!

My Yorkie owns me. He doesn't live with me (he barks too loud) but when I visit him, he has a coronary because mom-mom is there. He owns me and I love it!

Much better and my sis is going to handle the paperwork part of all this. She's first as power of attorney and has access to a fax machine. She'll get his paperwork sorted. Big relief for me!

Had to, he couldn't live there. It was a crap setting.

My sister and the case manager are trying.

I'm so sad. I saw him yesterday. He's not the same. I miss the way he used to be. Nothing will ever be the same now.

My sister said they (her and the case manager) might have found a place for dad to live. Not much looks promising because most of them cost way too much.

I want my dad back the way he used to be....before he lost the house.
