The ultimate album for making love ?

I agree with most of you........

I like most of the songs that you all have posted.......and I also agree that it depends on the mood, or type of sex your having, making love - slow romantic songs, fast pace sex - rock/soft rock, or the good ole bump and grind - stuff like "put your back into it" by ice cube.

Also, I have to somewhat agree to what meop says too, I usually forget my surroundings during great sex.

For fast paced sex, I'd consider listening to "Closer" by Nine Inch Nails, just for the pure humor of the situation.

oh yeah,

For a good slow caressing, candlelit, yummy love-making I would think Carole King softly in the background, or anything with some sexy sax blowin' my skirt up! mmm mmm mmm

I agree that it totally depends on your mood. Alternative is great for fast-paced. For the "afterglow", I'd have to say my favorites are Don't Wanna Miss a Thing by Aerosmith, and How Could I Live Without You (I think it's by Faith Hill, but I could be wrong).
I'll also say this. For slow, gentle love-making, celtic instrumental music is really nice.

fave albums of mine.....

A recent fave of mine........Sade "Lovers Rock".....or any
of her earlier songs.......

also: Nikka Costa "Everybody Got Their Something"
Madonna "Erotica"
Sarah Brightman "Classics"
"Lolita" Soundtrack (from the more recent
film version)
"Blonde" soundtrack (from the CBS miniseries)

reality

i have been reading this thread from the beginning and even contributed my list of my favorites. i do have one more thing to say about the subject though and i thin most will agree. i undersand that the purpose of this thread was to discuss the different types of music we listen to during lovemaking or just having good ole sex. i do have to admit one thing though, i have nver been with someone i really cared for and stopped my pursuits to change the cd on the stereo. i think as long as you are with someone you really want to be with they could be playing the theme song from fat albert and it would be ok. now granted i have "setup" things prior and picked the music i wanted to hear but id rather pick the person. just a simple twist to excercise the brain.

What a great list!! I might add some Cowboy Junkies to the mix as well. I actually pasted this into a word file so I can go check what I'm missing in my box.

An Album called "Erotique" is so full of mood music that i cant fail but feel the sex in the air..
I also like the soundtrack from "One Fine Day" Geo Clooney and Michelle Pfiefer. I get wet listening to some of the tracks on it even when I am on my own....;)

I am glad that you folks like my topic

I have been out of town for about a week and I am glad that others have picked up the ball and run with it. There are so many different types and styles that everone likes for those intimate encounters. I have enjoyed reading your posts and hope for more. I still say that the best all time album for someone who you know really well and are sexually familiar with is Van Morrison's Greatest Hits. Thanks for posting.

I want to know what you folks think it the ultimate music to make love to? If you know that you are going to get lucky tonight with either that special someone or a new lover what are you going to make sure is in the CD player? Is there a difference in what music you would play for that special someone and someone you just met? What is the music that can seal the deal? For me I have to have Van Morrison's Greatest hits. It is the perfect making love music and the just plain sexual expression music. Let me know what you think on this topic.

Here is an oldie but goodie. Let's revive this topic and see what you think. I still think that Van Morrison's greatest hits gets a womans juices flowing with a Corona and some good conversation. I started this thread years ago. I want to see what you folks think now. Post and let me know.
