The UK Directory's 3000th page thread

This thread is to inform anybody who is interested that the Uk Directory is fast approaching its 3000 page and we the regulars of the thread have agreed to make it a special page.
People coming to the Directory (The oldest and most popular UK thread) when page 3000 is being used are politely asked only to post there to help us make this into a special page and only to post on that particular page once.

Thisa thread may be used for that time to conduct the everyday business that you would otherwise use the directory for whilst page 3000 is in use!

We hope too that by opening this thread it may attract some people who have never found us (Ask your guide dog the way!) and that they will come and enjoy a chat and some good wholesome fun with us.

I would imagine that it will slide down the pages fairly soon after we have passed page 3000 on the directory but, by then it will have served its purpose!
