a serious break of trust...without trust there can not be real love and the second is neglect, the pain of giving love and getting so little back...and somepoint either can become a point of no return..no matter what they do, the love is lost. Agree?or do you know others?

Becoming so self involved, mired down by the relationships problems, and not interested in your own personal growth. All these lead to failure to grow as a couple. If you can't grow on your own, you have little to bring back to the table. If you don't grow as a couple, you begin to drift further apart.

I have to agree. If you boil every potential problem down, it comes down to this.

The more I think of it it all comes down to trust..even neglect is really a violation of trust...I trusted you with the treasure inside me and you wasted it. Is that not neglect.

Doubt is a very destructive force.

i
Is doubt that they meet your conditions or is it doubt that there love is unconditional?

Bringing issues from past relationships into the current one will kill it to.

Which again is a question of trust.

Doubting their word, their commitment, their willingness to be part of your life and their reasons for doing so. Doubting that love exists.

So sorry...I am tired and in fufuland, tonight!

You have to trust yourself as well as trusting your partner. That's the really hard part.

I tend to agree with the latter of the two...there are a myriad of ways to lose love...but to not foster it, to not nurture and do all that you can to help it grow...sure it could wither and die. But the neat thing about love...it is sometimes just dormant not quite dead just resting waiting for the one who will feed and nourish it so that it can blossom and become the true beauty that it can be.
