Venus was named after the Roman goddess of love and beauty. It was once known as the jewel of the sky because it can be seen glowing brightly, even brighter than most stars.
But even though Venus looks so beautiful from the distance, it is just a facade. The truth is it's surrounded by hot gasses, there is no water and the atmosphere is poisionous.

Its easy to look good from a distance. It's when life is close up and and personal, that you really find out what someone is all about and whether they are truly beautiful or not.

That bee-yotch. Venus never told me she was just a bunch of hot gas.

Earth has some issues too.

I've never really trusted that Mars...

Not since his canals proved to be worry lines. How can you trust anyone that worried?

Okay, but, how many people don't already know all this? Did you just find out yourself, or are you in a lyrical mood today?

By the way, there is (a little) water on Venus, in the atmosphere.

Damn

I gotta get with the program. I keep forgetting that Friday is comedy day on Planet Literotica. Hmmm, I wonder what the truth is about planet Lit?

and some scientists believe that primitive life may exist in the atmosphere of Venus...which isn't as inhospitable as once thought.
