The Titans Of Truth, Justice, And The Last Slice Of Pizza (OOC)

That's not a bio.
That's a thread.

(Not that I'm complaining.)

No, I meant the bio would come later tonight after work so that I could focus on the IC before I had to go. I ended up writing the bio though at work and emailed it to myself. Just need to pretty it up some and then post it.

Superboy
Real Name: Kon-El, Conner Kent
Age: 19 (true age unknown)
Birthday: January 1st (true birthday unknown, goes by date found)

Much is unknown about Conner or his past, which is actually everyone elses' future. Several years ago, there was a bright flash of light and a loud clasp of thunder in Metropolis City Park. When a nearby Superman went to investigate the explosion, he found a small crater, and inside it was a naked young boy, about 16. He was convulsing as if experiencing a seizure, so Superman rushed him to the hospital.

The doctors stabilized him, but when he awoke, he had no memory of who he was or where he came from. However, it was soon realized he was a metahuman, as he began to display powers similar to Superman himself. When the Man of Steel took a closer look, he realized the boy looked like a younger version of himself.

After being released from the hospital, the amnesiac boy agreed to go with Superman to the Justice League Watchtower, where they ran a series of tests on him. It became apparent that this young man was indeed Kryptonian, but he also had Lex Luthor's DNA within him. Superman went and confronted Luthor on it, but he denied any involvement.

The next day, the amnesiac had a bowel movement, and inside the toilet bowl was a silver sphere the size of a marble. Curious, he washed it off and delivered it to the League. Upon further inspection, it was discovered that the sphere opened and contained a tiny memory card inside.

They tried to retrieve whatever information it might hold, but it seemed to have been damaged. From the fragments of text, images, and sounds they could make out, they came to the conclusion that this young man was sent from some time in the future. The date of origin could not be recovered, but they did find out he was meant to arrive in the year 2012. He must have been sent back to warn them of something, based on what they could tell. There must have been some kind of technical difficulties, however, and he was sent back six years too far. Those same difficulties must have resulted in his memory loss and the damage caused to the memory card.

They figured he had swallowed the card to bring with him and aid in whatever mission he was sent to do. After seeing the fragments of information himself, the amnesiac was flooded with memories, but most of them were jumbled and incoherent. From what he could dechipher, he had been raised on a farm -- possibly the Kent Farm -- and had seen a good amount of violence. He saw figures standing over him, mentors. Possibly the Justice League of his time.

Much else beyond that, he could not hold on to. The memories seemed to be at the edge of his conscious mind, but whenever he reached out for them, they just barely eluded his grasp. The only other things he could remember were two names -- Kon-El and Conner.

Guessing he must have somehow came into the Kent family, they dubbed him Conner Kent. His Kryptionian name hinted at a possible blood relation to Kal-El, either that or Superman had adopted him into the family. The fact that his DNA was a mixture of Kal-El and Lex Luthor suggested he was a clone, or he was spliced.

Clark took Conner to the Kent Farm, where he spent some time with Jonathan and Martha, and while he could not remeber WHO raised him, he knew for a fact that this was WHERE. They told everyone Conner Kent was a cousin of Clark, like Kara.

After spending a year at the farm, Conner had regained control over his powers, moved to Metropolis to live with Clark, and became Superboy. Since he looked 16 and arrived on January 1st, they celebrated his 17th birthday on the same date a year later.

When the war between the Justice League and the Legion of Doom broke out, Superboy fought along with his cousin for a while, but ended up helping fight against the Brotherhood of Evil in New York. Afterwards he stayed and joined the Titans, but quit the team twice, leaving for a few weeks, only to return. The issue was he and Nightwing hardly ever got along. Nightwing's cold, serious demeanor contradicted Superboy's cocky, playful attitude.

Despite their differences, they have managed to avoid an argument for several months this time around, which is a new record. Superboy will follow orders now without complaining, but makes faces and gestures at Nightwing behind his back, making the others laugh.

What if... Connor and Atom are from the same time. They both went back at the same time, but ended up getting seperated in the time stream and arriving at set points?....

Or, what if they were both sent by a future descendent of Lex's to destroy the teen titans and the justice league? (Think about it, a microscopic Hero and a Kryptonian - between them, no one would stand a chance!!) Then in a while the rest of the future villians come back to see whats happened, and to help them with their mission, resulting in Connor and Atom having to choose a side... and perhaps one of them chooses the wrong side??

So, Jeff, lemme know when you get online. I wanted to discuss Terra's current placement with you. :D

Too be honest, I had totally forgotten about Atom being from the future when I wrote Superboy's bio. Maybe it subconsciously inspired me, lol. But my idea for him was this:

A few years back, Cadmus Labs succeeds in creating artificial life. They further expand their success by partnering with other places like STAR Labs. This is a vital point in the evolution of technology and civilization, as it will eventually lead to organs and limbs being cloned for injured or sick people.

When Lex Luthor gets his hands on this research, he appionts his own staff at Luther Industries to create a clone. For this creation, he gets blood samples from as many metahumans as he can. The resulting super metahuman clone gains consciousness on December 23rd, 2012. However, the instant he awakes, he causes massive damage to the labs around him and breaks free.

With all of his other powers super-charged by the Kryptionian ability to absorb yellow sunlight, he is damn near impossible to injure, let alone defeat. Over the Darkest Christmas, many people die, hereos and villains alike. All the various factions of heroes and villains come together to try and stop this monster, but Doomsday seems invincible. All hope seems lost when he even manages to kill Superman. Kryptonite has no effect on him because the other parts of his DNA reject the radiation, a deliberate move by Luthor.

In 2013, the heroes and villains, along with whoever they can manage to rescue, retreat to Crystal Peak, a massive military base/bunker within a mountain. Thus begins a project to create more clones. Not only do they recreate Superman, but they make several Kryptonians, both male and female, to help.

Seven Kryptonians face off against Doomsday in late 2013, and they actually manage to defeat him. They lock him up in an underground prison that keeps him in temporal stasis, and all seems fine.

Lex Luthor comes to enjoy the feeling of knowing he helped save the world, and while he never becomes "good," he does inch away from being "bad." He falls in love with one of the Kryptonian women, given the name Jianna Jor-El, since technically speaking, she is Jor-El's daughter, having been made from the DNA of his son.

While Jianna is skeptical about marrying Lex, she does manage to get pregnant by him, something they previously thought impossible. On August 5th, 2015, Kon-El is born, a half-Kryptonian/half-human hybrid.

When Kon-El is three years old, his parents start fighting more and more. Luthor begins turning back to the dark side, and ends up in prison, this time for good. Superman, although a clone, has all the memories of the original. He takes Jianna and Kon-El to his parents' farm, and they are given the identities of Julia and Conner Kent, Clark's long lost sister and her son.

Over the following years, the Justice League reforms from the surviving heroes, and things almost seem normal again. However, it is soon discovered Lex Luthor had a clone of himself sent to prison instead, and he has been working on a new project the entire time. He splices his DNA to allow it to permanently absorb superpowers, and then breaks into Doomsday's cell. Absorbing his powers and then killing him, Luthor resurfaces, intent on global domination.

Suddenly, out of nowhere, a strange being appears to Luthor. He introduces himself as a Monitor, an elite group of godlike beings that watch over the Multiverse. He warns Luthor to avoid his current course of action, but before he can explain why, Lex manages to absorb his powers, becoming a living god. With the power and knowledge of the Monitors and the Multiverse, Luthor decides to conquer every version of his home world. Thus starts the Crisis on Infinite Earths.

The Monitors are scared to confront Luthor, as he might absorb their powers as well. They team up with some of the greatest minds on various Earths and create a serum that will make them immune to his absorbtion powers. A massive force of heroes from many worlds, as well as various versions of the Green Lantern Corps, rise up against Luthor and his army of supervillains.

The Crisis and resulting Pandimensional War lasts many years, still raging on when Kon-El turns 16 in summer 2031. Shortly after, he agrees to use the time machine the Monitors and various scientists created. With everyone else fighting in the war, and he being the only one not fighting that could survive the trip, he really had no choice.

He swallows a memory card inside a metal sphere to use after his trip, stored with all the information he needs to thwart the creation of Doomsday without jeapordising the advancement of cloning technology. However, just as they power up the "Time Teleporter," Luthor senses the sudden anomaly and appears in the lab. Before he can stop him, Kon-El starts the machine and dives in. Luthor screams and blows up the entire lab, the explosion destroying the machine before Kon-El was completely in. The result sends him six years too far into the past, as well as corrupting his memory and the memory card.

So, that's how he appeared and why. As for the explosion in the future... Well, for all we know, it could have created a time portal to various periods. For all we know, the evil god Luthor, known as Lord Luthorius in his time, could have been transported by accident. He may be in the distant past, or even in the present day world, planning his next move. Who knows?

I'm motherfucking Robin!

@_@

But whatev's. I'm outta here before Jeffinator kills me, since he hates me and stuff.

LMAO. Lily and Remec both called Nightwing Robin, hehe.

Mental status quo...maybe Gar isn't used to the name? hehehe Or was he never Robin in this universe? Let me know so I can make the correction if needed.

Agreed.

Shall we discuss position and/or bedfellows? ;)

It would be blasphemous if Terra wasn't doing the thumper with Gar. I mean, everyone knows that I am a fanfiction whore for that pairing. 8D Upside down, turned around, sideways, this-a ways, that-a ways.... lol

1: What do you think of the Superboy future thing I posted?

2: I don't hate you, Reiha.

3: As explained in the bio, Dick Grayson left the Robin persona behind when he left Gotham. He's been Nightwing for three years now.

hmm, i like it.

Perhaps Atom was the one who had made the machine, and because of Luthor breaking in (Against who he couldn't really do much), he ended up in the time loop as well?

Well, the machine was a huge joint effort between many scientists and the godlike Monitors. But we could say Atom was one of the scientists working on it, maybe because he could shrink down to work better on smaller parts and any nanotechnology that might have gone into it? And yeah, we could say the explosion opened a time portal and flung both of them into the past, but at different times and locations. Who knows who or what else might be out of temporal sequence, hehe.

I hate to do this with the thread just getting its liftoff, but I think I may have to drop already.

I've kinda overloaded myself as of late, and with the upcoming number of hours at work to get things prepped for holidays, I don't think I'm gonna have as much time as I first thought...

If you have to go, I'll take over Raven, but I'll hand her back over if you ever want to rejoin, maybe after the holidays or whatever.
