Put images of things you've done here. Anything and everything. From growing herbs in a windowsill garden, to building a boat from wooden pallets, to knitting, to whatever else you've done. Post it.

Something I've done: Restored an early 1900's Ingraham mantle clock.

Yes it runs, keeps good time, and strikes the hour and half hour.

Is that a radium dial, one of the very first glow-in-the-dark ones?

It's only paper. It's discolored from the fumes of the oils and solvents that were used back then. I could have replaced it with a reproduction dial, but chose not to.

It was made (IIRC) in April 1903 based on the manufacturer date stamp on the movement front plate as well as archived copies of the sales catalogs of the time.

I have others besides this one in my collection. Some older, some newer, some broken beyond hope. (I call that one my Barney Clock because it's rubble.)

What have you done?

I have a pocket watch that needs repair.

A couple weekends ago, I split the snowblower into two pieces, replaced both drive belts, repaired a broken bit that was causing issues with the "gear shifting", reassembled and adjusted it to be like new. I could pop open that watch for you.

That would be awesome. Them stem broke and my local watch guy has long ago retired. Of all of my watches this one means the most as it came from my MIL.

I didn't say I could fix it. You might need a miniature machinist to build a new stem?

I’m sure I can find a stem. Ha! I assumed pop that open meant fix it. I can pop it open, but don’t have the proper tools to do the fix.

Sent you a PM with a linky in it.

Butters: I have no idea how to make a wreath. I should take a class or something.

Speaking of, I just removed another 4"+ of white shit from the driveway.

Am I wrong? Doesn’t thör just ooze the renaissance man I can fix anything vibe?

I have to admit, I'm just a tad jealous of him in that regard. Mostly because he has a hot tub and I don't.

I do not have a hot tub. I do have a soaking tub in the master bath oriented so one can soak and enjoy the view at the same time.

Welp, there goes my man crush. :D

Sorry to disappoint. I have had two hot tubs, one really nice wooden one and one normal plastic one. They were both a bit of a pain in the ass to maintain here in Alaska. The wooden one was the best, but when I was off to Greenland and other points north or east, my designated maintainer did not accomplish the list of required items and it fell into disrepair. I stupidly sold it instead of just taking it apart and storing it for the house I have now.

I made a table and a couple of side tables the other month, but I dont think I have photos, or anything special

Nothing says it has to be something special.

POST SOMETHING SOMEBODY!

Right now I'm working on putting an 1866 Waltham Model 1860 into an antique Sterling silver case that wasn't designed for that movement. Made a "test adapter" today on a friend's lathe to check the fitment. Looks like it'll go.

Pics later unless I totally muck it up. If that happens, the evidence gets melted with a blow torch. :D

As I was getting ready to post something here I realized Tumblr hit me. Does anyone know where to post NSFW art online?

Like they legit got me, it was porn, I can't be mad about it.

If I knew how to embed images without having to upload them somewhere I'd show you some of the old stuff I drew. Like really old. Like several years ago. Don't judge me by it. It's just that all my new stuff is signed and I'm trying to do the anon thing on Lit.

It's not showing up, which I think might be a sign from the universe because I'm setting myself up to get made fun of, but: https://imgur.com/3y0GLg6

This is fanart from Stardew Valley.

My husband, Sebastian. Like I drew this the year Stardew Valley came out, that's how old it is. I feel like I have to keep justifying why this is so bad.
