No modesty. Lauren is the cyber goddess. Right now she's moderating 17,000 boards across cyber space. It's mind boggling.

By the way, thanks for all you do goddess. :)

You really know how to set bait; and bring up the wurst of me.

Is this your personal "Thank you thread", or can anyone stop in and issue thanks?

I have a rather extensive list of catagories; you are on a few of them.

here, you are the only name

Hey, good luck with your nomination.
And thanks.

Yuppers. Thanks to all who make this place what it is. (What is it again?)

More Thank Yous

Thank you to Lauren and Angeline for putting together a great March Contest and thank you to Laurel for the contest prize. And thank you anna for the examples and poetry selections on the contest discussion thread.

A big thank you to two new (again) reviewers: Rybka and jthserra. They're just getting started again, so please give them and all the reviewers your support.

I'd like to thank the reviewers as well...when I posted my first poem, I had no idea there was a group of poets who did reviews daily. It's a big job and I appreciate the effort, both as a writer of poems and as a reader. I've found some wonderful pieces and authors through the Reviews lists.

I'd also like to thank everyone who reads, or who reads and votes without leaving a comment. It feels good to know someone is reading my scribbled emotions!

I generally RVC on the poems I read, but have not contributed to the review thread - I'll be making sure to add a mention or two every now and then for the ones that really make an impression.

Thanks, all!

definately a huge THANK YOU!

If it wasnt for you Eve andpeers at all the names written above, everyone mentioned up there, andlooks below at all the threads, through all the threads, and everyone down there

this place wouldn't be family
or half as insane as it is

Hey Eve, I told you I had lists.

After a year and a day, yea it's been that long, some reflections and many thank yous. I must have broke every convention that I can think of, (let me know if I missed any), so I may have gotten the most interesting comments.
I thank those who left them.
I thank WickedEve for the sometimes vicious banter back and forth, that some may have misinterpreted. She knows I love her (I think).
I thank those two, who have written things I wished I wrote
tathagata, jd4george
I thank those who have put up with my sometimes relentless questioning:
tarablackwood22, tathagata, annaswirls, Pat Carrington, Angeline, jd4george, WickedEve, Maria2394, Lauren Hynde, Liar
I thank jd4george for making the right comment at the right time (the lowest point in my life)
I thank the two who nominated me, although I wonder why
Maria2394 and Randy Grail
I thank tarablackwood22 for getting me off my dead ass, and for the discussions we have had.
I thank Art (or MET) since I think he may be the only one here who can physically kick my ass, and for the laughter we have shared.
I thank WickedEve for mooning me in an AV
I thank foehn for taking the time and for the wonderful posts he has made
I thank the two who kept me honest with their comments
lostandfounder and Relte
I thank the two whose comments have scared me, by finding stuff I buried deep
lostandfounder and Maria2394
I thank lostandfounder for Dr. Faber
I thank ulise for the best PM i ever got
I thank annaswirls for writing the most hypnotic, revolutionary stuff I've ever read
I thank and miss YDD (died) tarablackwood22 (gone) and lostandfounfer (gone)
may have been the best critics I ever had.
I thank the three or four friends I made (and quite good poets)
annaswirls, Maria2394, tarablackwood22 and WickedEve(I think)

I wish to go write some nature poems, where the trees aren't struck by lightning, the birds aren't eaten, and Hmmmm Karl doesn't show up
But first I have to get me some French-fried potators, clean the moray eels out of my cave, learn how to keep time, rhyme, sublimely...
and learn the dark secrets of enjambment
don't show, don't even tell
