Did anyone else see the MNF game last night. Every season it is the same old line abot Favre getting old and can he still do it. Them he bitch slaps the Panthers, runners up in last year's championship game. I guess the kitty cats are still reeling from the kick in the ass that Vinateiri gave them in the closing seconds last February. Then again this is the same bunch of dingleberrie who thought that their pre-seaon game with New England was a rematch.

D'oh.

My college team dropped a heart breaker Saturday afternoon on the road, but they were playing up a level.

New England at Arizona should not even be a match. The Cardinals just are not a good team; in the previous five years they are either 3-5 or 4-4 at home. However they were only blown out once last year.

I am looking forward to that game being the dedication game in honor of Pat Tillman - a real sports hero, not just some celebrity with athletic ability. To put aside a fruitful career in pro sports in order to serve a calling higher than one's self is the ultimate act of balsiness. I hope all the dancing buffoons in the end-zone who celebrate the slightest accomplishment on the field will keep that in mind during the game.

I think it is about time to get a four wheel alignment. The steering wheel is tilting to the left again. An alignment usually clears it up. Remember, it is an oil change every 3,000 miles or 3 months, keep the tire pressure between 32 and 35 psi, rotate the tires every 8,000 miles, and get an alignment annually.

Can you remember that ladies? Good, now show me your tits.

I can remember that.

Enough with the four-wheel talk and regularly scheduled maintenance. When are you planning on talking motorcycles and sports cars? I haven't had a good turbo-charger chat in a while. Anyone? *tapping well-manicured fingers on table in boredom*

Matthew's Collection dot com
The Indian Motorcycle Company began producing their first, single cylinder motorcycles in 1902, becoming one of the first motorcycle brands not only in the US, but in the world. The company was formed by Oscar Hedstrom and George Hendee and with Hedstrom's engineering skills and Hendee's business abilities, their company soon started to flourish. Indian motorcycles were groundbreakers. For example, the Hendee Special built in 1913 was the first ever motorcycle with electric start and a fully modern electrical system. Before the outbreak of World War I, Hedstrom and Hendee built Indian up to be the largest motorcycle manufacturer in the world, producing over 20,000 bikes per year.

The Chief was introduced in 1922 as Indian's top of the range model. It was based on the Indian Scout frame but had a larger, 61 ci V Twin engine. The added power gave the chief instant appeal to consumers and was an immediate success. The larger 74 ci engine was introduced in 1923 and in 1940 the trademark full skirted guards appeared. The Chief was at its most popular between 1946 and 1948 due to the post war boom but by 1949 the factory considered it obsolete and there was no Chief that year. The Chief's absence id not last long and it was back by popular demand in 1950 although production finally ceased in 1953.

The 1947 Indian Chief in the Mathews Collection has a 74 ci flathead engine with a 3 speed transmission, a left hand tank shift and left side foot clutch. This was the first year Indian introduced the head fender light and for the first time the left hand shifter/right hand throttle was offered as a factory option.

Now hop on the back of my hog and give me cat scratch fever with those nails.

I'm watching TV Diner on local cable television this morning. The host, Billy Costa, is interviewing the head chef (and owner I think) of the Orchard Street Chop Shop, a steak house in Dover, New Hampshire.

Thick steaks cooked to your desire. Cigar lounge on the top floor. Forget the wine list, they have a single malt scotch list.

This sounds like a Man's restaurant.

I think I'll hop on the Indian and head on over (I just need to get a fucking Indian.)

I think we have found the official meeting place for the annual lounge reunion...

I actually know of some others around the US very similar, being a big fan of both good steak and good scotch...

It seems that the "T" in the T-Lounge has been a little quiet lately, aside from Vincent and Belegon. What do we need to do to get more guys in here? A better beer selection? Ten cent wings? Golden Tee? X-Box? Alright, how about some lap dances?

For a small fee, additional "services" will be provided in the back room for all of you gentlemen who are interested.
;)

Ok I've cracked open the piggy bank... what's the fee:D

any Monday morning quarterbacking going on?

My boys lost but at least put up a fight late. They are not going to be good but at least they may not be as bad as advertised...

AND WHEN DO THE SDSU AZTECS FINALLY BEAT A RANKED OPPONENT INSTEAD OF JUST SCARING THEM!!!!AARRRGH!

I won with the Raiders and Seahawks this weekend, but didn't place any other bets. Monday night football too close to call ... although I would have bet the Vikes. Good thing, I suppose.

Someone say Golden Tee? Man, that machine has taken the equivelant of child support payments from my wallet. I refuse to get a card and play league ... although I'm wavering ....

Belegon,

The Aztecs problem is they play in too high-tone a conference. If they joined the WAC then they might start knocking of some of those ranked BCS clubs. But seriously sports fans, this is shaping up to be a very strange year in college football. Troy (St) of the mighty Sunbelt Conference, beats nationally ranked Missouri, then loses to 0-2 New Mexico State, Mississippi State loses at home to I-AA Maine, Notre Dame loses to BYU then wipes out the state of Michigan, and ranked Kansas State loses to Fresno St. When will those ranked BCS teams learn to stop scheduling WAC schools, especially Fresno State?

S Z,

The Saints and the Cowboys managed to not lose, so I'm content with the pro world.

The Aztecs HAD to go with the Mountain West breakaway from the WAC. Big rivalry games with BYU and Colorado State, yes. But lost a rivalry with Fresno St. and Hawaii.

But it was not really about football as much as basketball. That is where the move to the MWC has paid off big time...

The bottom line is, it was about the bottom line. SDSU had no choice. My comment was just a joke. The money in the Mountain West is much better.

and the sad thing is that the state of college athletics is such that I took it somewhat seriously...

Maybe this is finally the year the Aztecs beat UCLA...
Could be. But they better not overlook Nevada this weekend. The Wolf Pack haven't played a team of SDSU's caliber, but they are 2-1 and are scoring about 40 points a game. I just checked, and in the Sagarin power poll, they're only six points behind the Aztecs who are eight behind UCLA. Since SDSU is a 14 point favorite facing a "big" game the following week, you know which team my money would be on.

There is definitely the scary possibility of a letdown, but I think the chance of that would actually have been greater if they had beat Michigan...I think they will win the game. Cover the spread, I could care less. I'm not a betting man...

But I also don't think the "Dark Side" D will give up 40 in a game this year...
