for those of you who haven't read the book, the Warlock Lord (ex-druid) has enslaved the Trolls and the Gnomes. they are trying to take over the world. there is a sword, the sword of Shannara, and it has a magical property, but you don't know about it till the end. it can only be used by elves, but since it was presented to the king of the elves, the brain blocked out the ability to use it, so only one of the people from the royal family can use it. so Shea Ohmsford is a descendant of the kings, but he is only ha;f elven. half human.

anyway, this is the quest, to get the sword, and tpo slay the warlock lord. see the casting call for more details.

Brona sat on his cold stone throne, staring at the world before him in dark contempt. Rage fluttered into his eye as it passed over Paranor. "They dared to forsake me. Soon, life shall forsake them." He called to a skull bearer and relayed the orders. The skull bearer flew off, a bloodthirsty greed in it's dark eyes.

Allanon

Allanon walked into Shady Vale. looking for Shea. he needed to talk to him. make his journey, and find him before Brona did. he had seen more and more Skull Bearers lately, Brona had been looking for Shea more and more. dark times were not ahead. they were here.

Shea Ohmsford was busy chopping wood for the hearth in his father's inn, the main staying point in Shady Vale, but the young man was distracted. A shadow had been growing on his mind of late, as though someone or something were looking for him with dark purposes in mide. He could almost feel an evil will bent towards him.....Shea shook his head. "Nonesense," he thought "Who would be interested in a peasant from insignificant Shady Vale?". With that thought, Shea collected the wood and hurried back into the busy inn. 'Keep your mind on your business' is what his brother Flick would say. Shea dumped the wood in the bin and set about seeing to patrons.

Allanon

Allanon waited in the Inn he had discovered Shea to work at. a family thing it seemed. he waited for Shea to amble over, and take his order, but with the customers in here, he might be a little while. no matter. nothing would happen to him while he was here

Brona relaxed once in his throne. The thronebearers trudged around him, careful to keep the throne perfectly steady. His army marched all around. His eyes pierced the veils of mists and settled on Paranor, an ugly sore in his dreams. He looked at it. Paranor. Soon to be no more.

NOTE

Morgoth, Paranor survives. this is AFTER he kills all the Druids but Allanon and Bremen, and Paranor is Crucial to the story. you may NOT destroy it.

Re: NOTE

OOC) Yea, Paranor can be invaded (at huge loss of guys as I recall) by the dark lord, but even he can't destroy it. He does eventually send some wraiths in after Allanon, but they meet a grisly death. Mortal men can't find the place and it is a required safe haven for Allanon and some important relics.

OOC: yeah, it's not so much the haven, its's the sacred relics, and that it takes a very large part in the story

OOC: Sorry. I guess I was too general in that last post. I never was going to destroy the castle. By soon to be no more I meant that it would no longer present a trouble to him, meaning the inhabitants die. It was my error and I am sorry for the inconvenience.

OOC: oh! lol you've already killed them.... more of a mindless slaughter really.
