The Supreme Court Knows Best: Reinstates Trump's 'Remain in Mexico Policy'

There is that.

In the mean time how many hundreds of thousands of the cockroaches have been distributed across the nation? Not to mention the court orders staying deportation.

It has been estimated that the cartels are making almost as much money from the human trafficking business as they are from the drug trade, and the human trafficking is a lot lower risk business for them.

Honest Uncle Joe will simply continue that distribution.

He has control of the guns and policies.
The SCOTUS is just pissing in the wind.

It's now a free-for-all and it's poetic justice
since the repercussions are felt most with
our legal minority community who now
cannot enjoy a "living wage."

;) ;)

That is the word that pays with the Left..., no?

That is one path he can take.

I'm not celebrating this particular 'win' in that it's based on administrative procedure. The Biden admin did not advertise the change in the Federal Register and allow for the required comment period, all they have to do is follow those steps and 'catch and release' is back in force. There are cases of far greater consequence working their way through the courts but those are going to take quite a while before they have any effect.

Yup.

They've been subverting out immigration laws for years, they'll just keep doing it because nobody is going to hold them accountable.

Certainly no Republicans or Republican administration would ever do anything of the sort.

Before too long, we'll resemble East Germany,
more concerned about emigration than immigration...

Already dollars flee to freer shores.

:(

Ironic that that might be the impetus for the Left to build border walls...

Like they did in Berlin.

The (D)'s consider that a sign of "progress" and would celebrate a mass exodus of people, companies and their money/productivity.

After being mugged by the reality of this, THAT is when the walls to keep people in go up. :D

We need an asylum system overhaul, in general. And not just the legal aspect. Outreach in foreign countries to ensure our embassies are accessible to those seeking asylum claims.

If they don't have to come here for a claim, then we don't need to worry about keeping them out of the country.

People understand that ports of entry aren't viable due to various obstacles and also realize they can claim asylum by crossing the border. We need to give them more and better options.

No, we don't, because we don't need open borders.

What we need to do is vote out all these progressive scum bags undermining our democracy and nation state through the subversion of our immigration, customs and border control laws.

Once we rid the country of THAT cancer, we can talk about reform. :D

SCOTUS’ conservative majority repeatedly cleared away lower court injunctions so that Trump could implement his immigration agenda. Now it lets a single district court judge dictate foreign policy for the Biden administration.

After spending the Trump years insisting that courts must defer to the executive’s foreign policy decisions, the Supreme Court’s conservatives have let a single judge force the Biden administration into diplomatic negotiations with the Mexican government over border policy.

Remember how Thomas and Gorsuch questioned the legitimacy of nationwide injunctions when they were issued against Trump? Their concern appears to have evaporated now that Federalist Society judges are issuing nationwide injunctions against Biden.

You mean actually enforce our immigration laws, the ones you and the (D)eez are openly and actively subverting???

Boo fuckin' hoo Comrade74.....

If the single district court judge is right? No reason to get in the way. :D

Any way we can get Trump to remain in Mexico?

Would unlimited taco bowls be tempting?

The Texas governor has again just ordered his national guard to arrest any illegal alien crossing the border who are in violation of any Texas law. I think the SCOTUS decision provides a legal and political justification for doing so. To stop Texas from doing so, Biden will have to either follow the law, or declare himself in opposition to the SCOTUS and try and stop Texas and look like an anti-American idiot in doing so. That's not to say he isn't already enjoying that reputation as we speak.
