Q: How will the USA eventually find and kill Saddam & Osama?

A: Send them Al Jizzeera t-shirts.

I not going to read it. Same old shit different day, no doubt.

They hate us, and we don't care much one way or the other about them till their bullshit starts causing us problems.

Perhaps the arab world should be ashamed of their lack of artistic, scientific and educational contributions over the last century.

Perhaps they should be ashamed of their treatment of women, lack of civil rights and bleak employment opportunities.

Being ashamed about their failure to obliterate Israel in a war they started almost 40 years ago seems to me to be focusing on the wrong thing.

Just the beginning

One thing is for sure. This war is far from over. Rather, it is just beginning, and will spread to engulf the entire Middle East, and perhaps the entire world.

The most important thing of all is that nuclear weapons should NOT be used at any point, by anyone.

I wish folks would leave Israel out of it. Nothing discredits an opinion faster than anti-semitism.

I thin the reason to leave them out is because they haven't played any part in either of the Gulf wars.

If the Arab world wants to criticize the US for backing Israel, as it applies to our foreign policies, then that is a different story.

I hope the one thing that does come out of this is that the US changes our foreign policy towards countries that have brutal dictatorships. Too often, we have turned a blind eye to the regimes we support as long as they are allies. That has to change, because in many of these countries, the very governments we consider allies purposefully deflect anger, resentment and a lack of hope against us.

Egypt is a prime example of this, so why are we giving them millions in aid?

If only REDWAVE would make that pic his AV

It would save newbies the trouble of getting all worked up over his posts.

Keep 'em coming, ppman. I've added two bookmarks already. I'm sure you read the Palestine Chronicle too.

Ambulances...

"Ambulances raced through the streets, ferrying casualties to already overwhelmed hospitals. Aid agencies said the hospitals were running low on life-saving medicines as civilian casualties mounted."

"The chick got in the way"

"We now glimpse the forbidden truths of the invasion of Iraq. A man cuddles the body of his infant daughter; her blood drenches them. A woman in black pursues a tank, her arms outstretched; all seven in her family are dead. An American Marine murders a woman because she happens to be standing next to a man in a uniform. "I'm sorry," he says, "but the chick got in the way."

"Al-Jazeera Newscasts Land on U.S. Cable Television
Tue April 8, 2003 03:06 PM ET
NEW YORK (Reuters) - Al-Jazeera has reached a deal for its unedited newscasts to be carried on cable television in the United States, where the Arab-language network has been criticized for its coverage of the U.S.-led war against Iraq."

"Restraint"

It nauseates me each time some warmonger brags about what great "restraint" American troops are showing . . .

If this is "restraint," what would they call excessive? The mind boggles.

The most startling article of all, I thought, was the one from the Palestine Chronicle.

Written as it was by John Pilger, a highly respected Australian war correspondent and journalist, it is not written in any vanilla sort of way...

I usually think that if John Pilger writes something - it's true...

"John Pilger

John Pilger was born and educated in Sydney. he has been a war correspondent, film-maker and playwright. Based in London, he has written from many countries and has twice won British journalism's highest award, that of 'Journalist of the Year', for his work in Vietnam and Cambodia. Among a number of other awards he has been 'International Reporter of the Year' and winner of the 'United Nations Association Media Prize'."

What the Fuck

It amazes me that all these bleeding hearts for terrorists can rise up verbally against the U.S. and other anti-terrorist fighting countries, but if they are so concerned about humanity, then why the FUCK didn't you have the guts and/or courage to go and speak out at Saddam and his puppets for atrocities done to people.
As far as Israel is concerned, no I hate to disappoint you , but they didn't have anything to do with the gulf war. If they did you would know it not just guess and be a fart in the wind. They would have gone in and had less concern for cllateral damage. This is war. When bombs fall, evacuate the place, if you stay then you are either an idiot or a captive human shield being used by cowards who portray themselves as warriors. What a big CROCK of SHIT. Terrorists are a bunch of cowards. Times they are a changin' The majority of this world are fed up with terrorism and it is going to come down to either cease or cease to exist. As far as the wars with Israel, I seem to remember several countries with modern Russian weapons outnumberin the Israeli military and they had obsolete weaponry and still beat the shit out of the arabs and the arabs went crying to Russia to get the U.S. to talk to the Israel govt. and get them to cease beating the shit out of them. The bullies got thier asses beat and then cried for help. What a bunch of shit. If you don't like getting your asses kicked then learn to get along with the rest of the world. Plain and simple.
As far as this commie bullshit, wake up, it doesn't work. If it is so great then go to N. Korea, China, or Cuba or even Russia. Hell, Putin is (Ex)KGB (hahaha) yeah right ex. You don't even fucking know that the communist parties in this country are in league with the fucking arabs and terrorists and according to their religion if you are a true Muslim you enslave and/or kill all of the infidels of this planet. These sorry fucks are nothing more than a bunch of cowards.
As far as France, Germany, Russia and China, they were agaisnt this military action because they were selling weaponry to Iraq. No big brainer there. If you hate this country so much then LEAVE, and if you do live somewhere else then stay there and don't come here for a damn thing!!!!!!! We don't want you here. The "anti-war" pukes here are a minority and DON'T speak for this country.
I don't like Bush or most of the politicians we have, yes they are corrupt, but that has nothing to do with my severe dislike to people that pick a fight and then use women , children and old men as human shields. Go to Syria and voice your opinions against terrorism and see how long you stay alive. Go to Libiya and spew from your mouth how terrible Qhadaffy is (speeled that way on poipuss) get over it.
A peaceful world is most desired, but it ain't gonna happen until
people wake up to reality. Yes innocent people have died in this war. It is very sad. It could be much worse. We could have done NOTHING and good ole Saddam would have killed even more. You anti-war people are fucking idiots. Go to Iraq and tell the oppressed people how much you are against the war. The average citizen will by now shoot you or worse.
And this Minister of Information of Iraq? What a cartoon. Talk about denial. He gave me a much needed laugh. No the U.S. isn't surrounding the city BOOOOOOOM lol
To our troop of all nationalities there and/or will soon be there, may God bless you and may you come back safe.
To the Jarines , Semper Fi. OOOORAH

Hiroshima? Dresden? The sacking of Rome? The Battle of London? Should I go on? Have you heard of a single rape? Of homes looted for jewelry, livestock and young women? How about any burnings at the stake? Or mass slaying of entire towns for sport? How about cutting off the fingers of children?

There are far more horrific war stories stretching through the millennia, Red, and even through the last decade or two. You know that. As of yesterday, more than 30 thousand sorties had been flown by allied aircraft in Iraq since the start of the war.

Thirty THOUSAND. If one hundred miss the mark and strike an inadvertant target, there will be terrific human toll, and I ache for those killed and injured. I truly do. But you have to realize, that's hitting with an accuracy of 99.7%. Even if a thousand go astray, that still targeting at 96.7%. And that assumes each plane strikes just one target each run, one time.

I'm not a warmonger, Red. Far from it. But I do believe in numbers and in understanding the truth of them, and the fact that numbers are conveniently ignored when they won't support an emotional argument. Never before in the history of warfare has such accuracy been maintained. It's restraint at an almost unbelievable level.

If you want to discuss restraint in the ground war, I can go there too.

I DON'T LIKE THIS WAR. I suspect its motives, the underlying tenor of its justifications, and deeply believe that little regard has been given to the long term historical outcomes of this conflict. But I don't like people making up bullshit either. It just pisses me off.

I'm not a proponent of Israel's policies toward Palestine. I think they're fucking up. And I think America could do more to solve the problems there. But the Jews-are-behind-it theories suck.

The ironic thing about the war-is-to-liberate-the-people-of-Iraq is that it captures one of the issues liberals care about most. I'm afraid, though, it's just a propaganda ploy.

I hope the Iraqis
