Excellent! Thanks Lou! That's made my afternoon! Just fetching a couple of beers to enjoy while I'm watching. I can't handle my alcohol all that well, so I'm hedging my bets that the AH will be alive with the sounds of music by the time I'm done! :D

Cool! Yep, I'm gonna settle down on the sofa with my girls and watch it. My little 'un especially loves this film. :D

Devastatingly camp protagonists and semi camp nazis. O yay. :)

My college Lit teacher (that's 'literature' not 'Literotica') used to call it "The Sound Of Mucus".

I was hoping for Victor/Victoria !!!

Sorry about the two posts in a row, but this originally was a double post.

Over here they have midnight "Sound of Music" shows like they used to have "Rocky Horror Picture Show" screenings. All these freaks dress up like chartacters from the movie and go in and make fun of it, get up in front of the screen and camp it up.

More power to them, says I. It's a dreadful flick.

I preferred the broadcast of “Clitty-Clitty, Bang! Bang!” (sic!)

It contained only a few fantasy seamen, just like Literotica! :D

How the hell do you camp up Sound of Music? It's the epitome of camp as it is!

I couldn't agree more, I love that movie, as kids we would play out the scenes all the time. I took my son to see it on stage, we sat front row,I bawled my eyes out. It was on last week too.It does seem to be a part of Christmas although I do not know why:)

I wait and wait and wait and the bitch never falls down the mountain.

Julie Andrews ain't no Shelob, that fer damn sure.

Let's see, we had Sound of Music, the Grinch, Saving Christmas, Saving Santa, Saving the North Pole, Saving ...

Hell and we don't even believe in Santa!

Where are the Christmasses when I would be glued to the telly watching ballet like the Nutcracker suite.
Wishing I could be a ballerina too. LOL

 Why should "The Sound of Music" be a Christmas thing? As I recall, it wasn't even set in the winter, at least not the finale.

How about "How Ernest Saved Christmas" starring Jim Varney?:D
