Obviously we didn't kill near as many of the Taliban as we should have. We need to destroy any and all concentrations of Taliban. We need to do what we did in the opening weeks of the Afghanistan campaign. Put B-52s up and attack any mass of their troops readying for attack on the Afghan government forces. What "concentrations?" What "masses of troops?" The whole point of every war that America has fought since Korea is that the other side doesn't play fair. They move in small groups, hit and run, hide within the local population - they make high tech warfare impossible, and eventually they know that America will give up and go home.
