Hi Everyone!
Sorry I have not been on a lot lately. With the moving into new office, trying to get the computer biz going as well as radio - voice work, and dealing with my mom's stuff... I have been working my tail off.

To be honest, the next few months I am going to be on only when I can. So if this thread dies, I can understand and I will just try to catch everyone when I can.
But if it continues, then I will post a couple of times a week to see how everyone is and keep them updated on what I am doing. Matter of fact, was thinking of doing a blog and just posting on that and have people post comments.. Anyone doing a blog by the way?

So, the last of my stuff is going out today and Thursday and then taking a week off, started the 28 before hitting it hard.

So talk to you all later!

We just returned home a little while ago from the ER...

Last night a welt of some kind appeared on my little boy's back, but I didn't think anything of it, thought it might be a bite of some kind but assumed it would go away. But today numerous welts and hives started appearing all over his body, huge ones.
I lost it. Called my ex, he came and got us and we took J to the ER this evening. The welt on his back was a bite, probably a spider of some kind. And he is having an allergic reaction to it, with welts all over him. Dr have him some allergy medicine. said if he was bitten yesterday, then the poison has done what it's going to do and he'll be ok. But have to watch for any allergic reactions, swelling, shallow breathing, etc. that's what the medicine is for. The area where he was bitten looks horrible, dark red, very swollen, feverish. etc

sorry.. kinda falling apart here now that he's asleep. He's usually such a restless little sleeper, tossing and turning
about, but tonight he's just laying there. The allergy stuff they prescribed for him pretty much knocked him out, I guess.
OK so I'm paranoid... I keep checking on him to make sure he's breathing, etc. But he literally is my life and
I honestly would have nothing to live for if anything happened to him.

ok Peggy... breathe... 1... 2... 3... breathe...

Babydoll

Peg,
I understand where you are coming from. My kids are all grown now, but when they were little, when any of them got sick or hurt, I would try my best to be cool, but inside I was a basket case.

I have had my kids in the ER more times that I would like to count. From falling off the steps of a stone bridge and cracking their head open, stepping on glass and having major sticthes, and even being in 2 major car wreaks, I have seen it all. It is one thing when they can tell you what is wrong or you know what is wrong, but it is another when they are sick and you have no idea what is going on and neither do the doctors.

You all will be in my prayers and just hold on tight!

HornyMamam

HM! How are you sweetie? Long time since we have talked. I am so glad you came by.... Your son will be in my thoughts and prayers...

Don't be a stranger... stop by anytime or PM me and we can catch up....

Take care hon...

Mary

Honey
I am so sorry you keep getting hit like this. I know this is so painful and so overwhelming that I know at times you just feel like giving up.

Just hang in there and keep holding on His hand and he will see you through.

You will be in my prayers as well.

Hurricane

Well.... here we go again.
This Hurricane looks like it is going to be a really bad one. A Cat 4 or Cat 5 and could hit where my kids are. I have already talked to them, to keep an eye on this one and to be ready to run. A Cat 4 or 5 will level them.
However my son may not go. He feels he is macho enough that he can ride it out. Not much I can do about him and I talked to my ex and she said there is nothing she can do either.

Just be praying this thing misses them. If it comes into the MS or AL coast, we could see some very very serious damage. Remember Camellie and Andrew.
The pictures of Andrew when it was a Cat 5 showed nothing but twigs left of all the houses. This could be the worst storm ever...

Please keep them and the other people who live on the coast in your prayers.

Will do man!

When I heard about this storm the other day - they talked like it would fizzle out - it sure had them fooled. Will keep you and yours in prayer.

Good night! - gonna try to get some sleep - haven't been sleeping well.

Sweet dreams to all

thanks sweetie... J's doing alot better now. Saw his doc today who said the welts/hives are going away, so the allergy meds worked.
Today's the last he'll have to take that... which is a good thing, made him so sluggish

Thanks everyone for your prayers for my lil guy :rose:

I have a very long working weekend ahead of me... 23 hours sat and sunday, so won't be around much. Have a good one!

Good evening everyone

Thanks so much Smily...:rose:

Spenser, I am so praying for your children's safety....and the safety of everyone in the path of that hurricane......please keep us posted.

As for myself....I am slowly getting better or thought I was.....my lower back feels like I have a knife in it.....but I am still making myself move....slow but surely.

Take care all
Hugs  :rose:

Hurricane

Two of my kids are in Mobile and one is on the MS coast and they were not able to leave but plan to ride it out. The ones in Mobile I am not as worried about as the one on the MS coast. Please keep the prayers going... I am very concerned.

Spenser
