Way to go. Stay busy but don't forget to check in, we worry and care about you and yours

Hey everyone

How is everyone?

I do pop in from time to time to read the thread to see what is going on.
An update on me...

I am working my two jobs that I created, and I am working part time for a friend who is out of town, but he said he may put me on 2 days a week for good if I want. (not sure about that, not really into what his work is) and then another friend who wanted me to work part time and decided later to shut down the store, has now changed his mind and wants me for 2 days there to keep it open.
So I am working my fanny off..

But here are some prayer requests. As you may have read, it was posted on many boards that Sade ( think that is her name) has a daughter that has bone cancer. They are heading back to PA to get her into a Children's hospital and to be closer to the family. Please pray for them, it is not looking very good.

My next prayer request is for Jennifer and her family. Her little nephew Jake was born with a bad heart and got a heart transplant. Then at the age of 3 he got lukemina (sorry for spelling) she had just gotten the email that he was sick and next expected to live through the night and as we were talking, she got word he had just died that morning. They are all torn up about it. Cover them in your prayers.

A woman, I have just started to talk to, and met on Lit, is going through a hard time in her divorce. Just pray for her that the healing time will be swift and that she will be at peace and that she will see this as a great chance to move on with her life and find someone who really loves her for her. She is in that... mixed emotion time. Anyone who has gone through a divorce knows what I am talking about.

Still keep praying for people on the MS coast and NO. Have some friends that went down to NO to help a church and they were told they were going to clean up houses. But when they told me all they are having to do to protect themselves from getting toxic diseases... man it is a mess down there.

Housing is still a problem on the MS Gulf coast. Clean up is going on but it is slow. Many families are living with other family... some of them are like 8-10 people in one house trying to hang out. It is a REALLY mess down there. I was told to drive from one end of Pascagoula MS to Gulfport, which would take about 30-45 mins, is taking up to 2 hours. Many people are not doing well down there. Many have lost everything. Even my ex lost all the kids pics from over the years. (Good thing I scanned them all in the computer) and yes I sent her a copy of the CD the other day. So many still need prayers and help and housing. My daughter lost everything and she is living with a friend at this time, but not sure what she is going to do. My son is probably going to FL, but for now he has been working with FEMA, helping to set up trailers for families.

Well that is all I know about at this time.... PLEASE Keep this thread going. MANY PEOPLE need a place to come and get prayer and support in bad times...

Love you guys!

I am new to the thread but my heart goes out to those mentioned anyway. I will whisper a special prayer for each one here and keep everyone in my good thoughts. :rose:

Wyld, hon, so nice of you to join us. I have not been on much as you can see RL has me working so much, but there are some great people here who care about each other and are there for each other with words of encouragement or prayers.
Many of us have walked through some tough times and have been in their shoes and can relate. That is what this whole thread is about. THANK YOU so much for coming on and posting and I hope it will not be the last time...

:)

Well since this is fall, and the leaves are falling off most of the trees, picture a place in the south, under a big oak tree, on a warm day, where you can just sit in the shade, sip on the drink of your choice, and enjoy the breeze and the shade of friends...
