I've heard that The Share stays in much better than the Feeldoe, but the Feeldoe is much more known to people.

I want to hear your opinions on which is better (if you've tried both) or what you think of either of these Strap-On alternatives.

I'm thinking about buying The Share, but I want to be sure before I do.

I would be using this for Female on Female play :D

Thanks!

I'd bet with both you'd better think about a little bit of help until you are used to using it. At the yahoo feeldoe group they've pretty much settled on using some tight underwear and either making a hole or using a man's underwear... using the flap.

I'll be interested to see what Share users say, but in either case... I think getting wet and keeping it in are at odds. Even more so when using it for female-male play. Kegals are no match for a set of sphincters.

Come by the group... any information there will transfer to the Share.

Did you read THIS Blowfish review? It does compare some aspects of the Share to the Feeldoe.

To me it looks like the Share is better designed and may stay in better without help from panties and such.

I'd never go on what's better known alone. A lot of lesser-known products are just as good, if not much better, than the originals or better-known products. In this case, you know they're both from reputable companies, made of 100% silicone, serve the same purpose and are in the same price range (though it looks like prices vary A LOT from one retailer to another on both, so shop around, and you may be able to get a better deal on Share because it doesn't have the same brand name recognition). From the Blowfish review and pics, it looks like the Share is actually an improvement on the Feeldoe, so it's probably worth trying out if you're set on this type of dildo.

Maybe you'd have better luck asking somewhere else, like the General Board, or an active sex toys forum (maybe blowfish has one?).

It might also help if you respond to the replies you get.

Both the Feeldoe and Share arefairly expensive, and I'd bet that most people buy one or the other, rather than both. They're not different enough for most people to go, 'Oh, look, I should get the other one because it's going to be a new experience or a lot more fun!' So, there just may not be a lot of people who have tried both, no matter where you ask.

Therefore, you might have to rely on the comparisons that are out there and trust your best judgment. That is, if the Share looks better design-wise, get it. Maybe one of your partners will have a Feeldoe since more people have them, and if you're not fluid bonded, you can slip a condom over it or santize it and try it out for comparison's sake. The Share probably came out because it was an improvement over what was on the market at the time, both in price and design and they thought people would like it over the competition.

I'm sorry If I don't reply to the posts. I'm looking for opinions and didn't feel that I needed to reply to them.... Anyhow, I appreciate everyone's input and opinions on the toys.

I totally understand if someone hasn't tried them both. Yes, they are VERY expensive and having both is not in most people's budget. I just want to hear opinions on what people think of the two toys if they have tried one of them. If they have tried both, EVEN BETTER! I only bump it because I haven't heard from anyone that has actually tried one of these tempting toys

* For what it's worth... to me The share sounds like it is a little better, but I'm always open to being persuaded otherwise.

I know there has got to be more opinion than what I've gotten so far...

Well, we have the Share, two Feeldoes (original soft regular and a
stout) and the Nexus. I would like to have been able to report more on
the comparison but we seem to have been taking it it turns to do down
with one of the UK winter ailments for a while now which has limited
any sort of strenuous activity :-(

What we can say about the Share is that:-

The grade of silicone is just right - very like the original Feeldoe
material or perhaps just a touch softer.

The bulb is bigger than that of the feeldoe which, because of the soft
grade of material is not a problem.

The area that rests on the clit is quite broad and flat and looks to
be intended to spread the load of vigorous thrusting.

At the other end the head of the dildo is slightly more pronounced
than the Feeldoe especially on the top. The shaft is somewhat tapered
increasing the girth with deepening penetration.

The surface of the Share is a very uniform fine matt finish rather
than a high gloss. The moulding line down the centre-line is slightly
less obvious than on the Feeldoe - this may be a function of the matt
finish.

Overall I would say the shaping at the wearers end puts more emphasis
on vaginal stimulation and less on clitoral stimulation than the
Feeldoe. At the receiving end the head and the upturn in the shaft
does give good prostate stimulation in face-to-face positions
(possibly less in doggy but we don't use that position)

For us its still a close run thing between our original Feeldoe and
the Share. However, because the Stout we have is in the hard material
we have to say that the Share is well ahead of the Stout (which we
have just about given up using)

As for questions over the quality of material that has been raised in some places I should point out that
the Share is made and marketed in Germany which is about the most
critical market in the world as regards health and safety. I don't
think it would be honest to raise fears over this.

If Mia, the inventor of the Feeldoe is reading this please re-consider the hardness of your
silicone - the current grade is doing you no favours. If our old 'doe
died we would be using the Share not replacing it with a new hard 'doe
- sorry. Also, from a pure marketing point of view look at the way the
Share is packaged as it gives a more expensive look to the product
than the way the Feeldoe is packaged. And finally, look at your
overseas marketing. A Feeldoe "More" in the UK, now it has finally arrived, is the
equivalent of $160US!!

WOW!! What r the odds of getting someone who has tried so many of these little suckers!? Thanks for the input! This really helps in making my purchase! I was leaning more towards the Share, but wanted to hear from someone who has used it to see what they thought. It definately is better in price and sounds to be better in comfort and pleasure as well :D

Thanks Pegger_Man!

Thanks for all the info here. The feeldoe is the only one of these products that we have had the chance to use, and with mixed results. It is certainly not the easiest implement for my wife to keep in place, though she has not tried using a pair of panties with a hole (thanks for the tip) and now we may try that. For myself, I don't mind the feel of it anally and have no complaints in that regard. But yes it could use some improvement in the design.

We also purchased the small bullet vibrator that gets inserted in the little hole and there can be problems with that as well. Mainly what happens is that the air from the hole gets forced out during insertion, creating a vacuum behind the vibrator. That makes it very difficult to remove. Compounding the problem is the poor quality of the screw threads of the vibrator halves, resulting in the vibrator often falling into 2 pieces when you try to remove it. I haven't experimented with drilling a tiny hole at a 90 degree angle to the main hole to act as an air vent which should aid in the vibrator removal technique. In theory it should work.

just squeeze and push

before you butcher it...

press through the silicon... you can push it from "behind" or sort of squirt it out. Agreed if you grab it to soon and twist you've got a problem, but since trying this method I haven't had a problem.

I would second the thing about using some support - we have never had much success without a harness with any of these. We have not tried the panties method yet but have used the Stockroom 'Ultimate' harness which is very simple and adjustable enough to put the ring in the very low position needed for these dildos. More recently we have made a soft leather ringless harness that works rather like panties would but also still has the visual appeal of a minimalist harness. From the way the thin straps stretch quite a lot of force must get used at times!!

I should perhaps mention that the Share and Nexus don't have provision for vibrators if that is important to you.

We have also had good results from using a 3 inch penis extension sleeve to solve the problem that all these dildos are a bit short for face-to-face positions so don't overlook the possibility of customising your dildo this way!

Don't leave them hanging on where to get a safe sleeve!! (Note the sleeve will also give you more girth) Use a condom! Don't lose it

Ahhh, thanks for the hint, I hadn't thought of that. Too much engineering going on in my "other" head! :D

Oh sorry :D (I'm so used to forums which don't allow external links!)

here is the sleeve we use. It is made from really soft silicone and has a hollow centre to the extension part (which makes it even softer!) By filling this hollow you can change the girth and firmness of the extension. The 'nubbs' do add to the sensation but are soft enough not to be uncomfortable. As uptoplay2 says the sleeve part does increase the girth of the dildo itself and the head of the dildo is made bigger and is now 3 inches back from the tip and this gives really good prostate stimulation while the dildo is giving a good feeling of fullness and has no chance of falling out!. (I've come over all faint just thinking about it :D)

If you unroll the extension onto the silicone dildos with no lube around it grips really well and we don't have a problem with it coming off but a condom is good security.

Double Penetration with Share?

Has any M/F couples tried Double Penetration with the Share? Where the guy wears the pony end in his ass?

I'm trying to decide between the Feeldoe and Fun Factory Share. She wants to try DP and I want to receive pegging. The Share seems better for her since clitoral stimulation doesn't do much for her. But I have concerns that the shape of share won't work for DP (wearing it in the bum).

Let us know how it goes...

For whichever one you decide... but to use the feeldoe, you'll want length to do any good for her so look at the More... or get a nice silicon extension for the slimdoe.

I've not tried either, but I've wanted to for the longest time! However, I will say this... Fun Factory makes some quality toys!

I agree! I have their Ben Wal Balls (or whatever they are called ). They are pretty cool and very good quality!

I can't say which is better..

I tried to get a friend to get a share so we could compare...

This webpage was posted at the feeldoe group. If you want to see whether a woman can enjoy the feeldoe by herself.
http://www.elprobador.es/index.php/all?producto=593

Also a few folks who have been at the group for a while have reported that they no longer need any help to hold their feeldoe due to increased kegel strength... not a bad thing I'm sure!

http://www.mayoclinic.com/health/kegel-exercises/WO00119
wow... pretty involved... 4 floors?? Do sphincters only have 2 floors??
Perhaps kegels can take on sphincters in a tug of war.

WOW! Old post back from the dead... but maybe it's time to 'share' an update...

I bought The Share about 3 months ago and I LOVE IT! It does take some kegal muscles to hold it in and I did find that me and my partner were stopping to put it back in often. If we were in positions where we were very close it didn't seem to be a problem. I'm sure it wouldn't be a problem at all if we had stronger kegal muscles.

I think the best part of it all was when she and I came together as she was fucking me in the missionary position!! That was definitely amazing! Another position that helps keep The Share in the giver is to have the giver stand up next to the bed (squeezing the thighs together) and the receiver to bend over (doggie style) at the edge of the bed. This one worked like a charm and gave our ass a Nice workout!!

Although I have not tried the Feeldoe, I would Highly recommend The Share!! :D

Again... Thanks for all the feedback! ;)

Share XL

I thought I should mention that there is a new version of the Share out now - the Share XL. We just got one so it's early days yet but I reckon it is going to take over as our favourite toy. The wearer's end is similar to the original Share but has an additional ridge running around it for more g-spot stimulation. It also has a slightly longer and thicker dildo for the receiver and this has a series of ridges that significantly add to the prostate stimulation. The girth over the ridges is about 5.7 inches (equal to 1.8 inch diameter) so it's not a beginners toy. We use it, like our Feeldoes and original Share with our usual ringless harness (simply to provide some support for the toy). If you were going to use it with a conventional ringed harness you would need a big diameter ring as it gets very chunky at the base. Material choice is great - just the right degree of firmness - and the finish is good. Also, we find the material is OK with the Pjur original silicone lube which means we don't need to stop for a re-lube during long sessions which is a boon.

From other feeldoe threads

There are lots of vids using feeldoe, realdoe.. The Share at Straplessdildo dot com
You can search for longer versions on line that the snippets at the site

On ********** dot com there is a model named GreenLeaf4u who has a realdoe she uses at times
