Sultanapur seemed a wise choice when Adi Pasha surveyed the slave markets – stocked with women from around the world – from the fair flesh of Nordheimir maidens to the ebony skin of wenches who hailed from the fabled Black Kingdoms. The selection nigh overwhelmed the Turanian nobleman and he sorely wished that he entertained the offer of that Zamoran slaver (who proposed that he transport the finest selection of his wares to the pasha’s villa on the Vilayet).
Though he rightly distrusted Zamorans and their thieving ways; the prospect wasting days, or possibly even weeks, scouring the souqs and bazaars in search of odalisques promised to bankrupt his purse. So, with much resignation, Adi Pasha turned around to contract Dmitri the Slaver. Unsurprisingly, the rogue gladly took on the task for double his original asking price. Grudgingly handing his hard earned dinars, which he honorably appropriated from a dead Shemite sheikh who misjudged Adi Pasha’s skill with the saber, the Turanian swore to Erlik as he turned to distance himself from the miserable slaver….
Days later, whilst Adi Pasha attended to his Stygian tutor’s lesson on politics, Ashur (a Pelishtim who proved his loyalty through many years of faithful service to the Turanian) informed his master of Dmitri the Slaver’s arrival. Stepping out into the courtyard of his seaside residence, Adi Pasha inspected the nude women presented before him….
