Shit. The coffee maker seems to have died. This really blows. It's 11 years old and is still on its original carafe. I may have to fiddle with it first to be sure it's truly dead, but the control panel seems lifeless.

It's only redemptive feature is one of those gold filter baskets that just need to be emptied and rinsed. However, I had to buy that separately.
