The Semi-Consolidated Leakage Thread

Continuing with the 'mixed mode' nature of this thread. I only built up one Mopar, it was a '62 Dodge with the 413 RB wedge. Max-Ram crossover, B&M hydro kit on the tranny, and a Crane cam. I forget the specs on the cam but the the damn thing wouldn't idle below ~650 RPM without loading up and dying. Getting the carb linkages synchronized was a bitch too. Built it strictly for the 1/4 mile.

It's just another Blurt Thread. OP above. Seriously. Hence the "mixed mode" - all intentional - as intentional as any other GB thread.

You know, I let my interest in cars and engines sit idle for 30 years. Junior bought his hot rod and I started looking again, which resulted in my buying my old Polara. I have been reading up and collecting goodies. I am running a 383 now and am looking on a build based on the 400 block (I have 3 now). The current build-'em-up book I am reading likes the 400s best.

My error is, I have a c-body. I have my eye on a '65 Coronet, which would save 600 pounds in the easiest way possible - a smaller car. There is a '68 Dart in my radar, too. We'll see. Money doesn't grow on trees.
