Merry Xmas Eve!!! Happy Saturday, too. It's raining outside and the coffee is on. Things seem to be getting a bit more back to normal here.


I just checked the forecast for Tampa next week, and it's going to be 80s-n-60s for the duration. Fuck me running, I may even pack a bathing suit.


This is the first thing I have looked forward to for Xmas since the kids came up last for Xmas.


I hope that the cat doesn't get too angry at me for leaving him. I'd take him, but he seems to hate change, especially since he went on walk-about. Silly furry fucker.

I rarely drink. But I had a few too many (beers) 2 DAYS ago and since then I have this ongoing dry retching reflex. Any smell that's not 100%, or even cutting in half an apple that looked a bit softer at the core triggered it. No headache, no other symptoms of hangover otherwise.

My last hangover was a year ago on NY's day, but it was completely different.

I just tried to brush my teeth and I started dry retching convulsively, like a dog. Yuck!
I might as well stick my fingers down my throat and get it over with.

Home from an early-ish morning outing.


I went to the grocery store while I was out. I should have gone at dawn, but I still got out alive, leaving no casualties.


They had fresh wild weasel on sale cheap, so there will be a lovely casserole for supper.

So, I wake up early, to get back on a day schedule to find the Queen getting ready to go to church. I walk into the living room and see a covered chair and I started to ask, "What's wrong with the chair (the Queen is an expert at spilling things)" and I see the old chair at the far end of the room.

"Don't open it until Christmas!"

It's a chair woman!

Am I stupid?




I get her a gun, she gets me a chair. Yes I hate this one, but a freaking chair???
