No, Jammie. It don't work quite that way in the real world. You see, you have to accept a bet first. Cowering under your bed with a deflated Gabby doesn't count as accepting, I'm afraid.
(What? Were you worried I'd take away your Monopoly money? )

It's too funny that you would have won if you would have had a pair. I guess now EVERYBODY knows you don't. BTW, did it hurt much when they were removed?
(Is that why you always put on that bravado BS about knocking up your blow-up doll and having sex with people who wouldn't even let you open the door at Walmart for them?)

Hey, I hear they are having a sale in Sweden if you're ready to go the rest of the way. Course, I could understand why you would bother.
(After all, it's about the size of an undersized clit anyway!)

But it's all good. Like you said:

that was the shortest week on record!!!!!

Hey the boss’s story passed one of the most famous stories on the site yesterday. Sara’s Car Trip is one of the famous sara stories and has accumulated some 4000 votes! So for the boss to catch that one was pretty impressive.

29 - 1,179,865 – Sara's Car Trip – youbadboy - 08/13/03

It would be incorrect to call Monsieur Rousseau a Surrealist Painter (though some of his work may have influenced various surrealists, he died 1n 1910, well before that movement started). Nor does his painting carry any of the ‘intellectual content’ baggage of much of the early surrealists. He can probably best be described as a a one of a kind post-impressionist ‘naïve’ painter.

A petty bourgeois who longed to be accepted as a serious painter, instead he was widely ridiculed during his lifetime. And yet he left us some extraordinary images.

QUOTE ladyfriskystein :) Well, unfortunately, reading your stories isn't going to get me any closer to finishing my B.S. Ironic, isn't it?

Not necessarily true ma’am! In a study carried out last Spring at the University of Miami by Behavioral Science Professor Doctor Lowcloud, students who had read a scouries story immediately before taking their final exam in B.S. outscored their classmates who hadn’t by seven (7) percentage points!

And this beneficial effect was even more pronounced among coeds. They showed a gain of nine (9) percentage points as opposed to only a five (5) point gain for the men.

So there you go…

What’s with this ‘oh, scerrrs’ line?

I actually wasn’t trying to get into an ‘Art History’ argument with you my dear. Just trying to point out that Rousseau’s oeuvre could never be described as ‘surrealism’. He’s a completely different animal.

A couple of points, one, if you’re referring to him as the ‘forerunner to surrealism’ you are in fact speaking of the ‘timeline of art history’. Your two sentences don’t make sense back to back.

As to your ‘I was speaking of style’ it should be noted that the real name he acquired was ‘one-of-a-kind’ primitive or naïve. While his style may have influenced the Surrealists, the Fauves, Seurat, Redon, and even Picasso and Leger, it would be impossible to describe it as belonging to any of the particular movements that came after him.

So how about it? Imagine painting Rousseau’s The Dream, transformed by you, now a naked Gabby  could be lounging on the couch in the forest, watching as the masterful scouries strides toward her, he so captivated by her beauty that he doesn’t even notice the crouching AHers, those sad wannabes, snakes  and kitties  :p, ready to pounce… mr tex :nana: could be a lone banana hanging forlornly in a tree…

The possibilities are all there for you hon… just run with it…

As I hope you already know, acquiring a bachelor's degree is all about passing the required courses, not some final exam. Some courses may have exams. Most of my basic courses were in fact heavily dependent on exams. However, in every course that I have had in the past year, there were no exams at all. They are called "research papers," scerrs. In each class, I typically have to do five research papers, 10 short essays, and a PowerPoint presentation or two.

And, I'm doing quite well, thank you. My professor was nice enough to email me and let me know that I have the highest grade in the class.

B.S. in what????????????

Dear Lady Friskystein :) I have to admit that I thought all this B.S. stuff you’ve been talking about was just that. Trying to make fun of poor old scouries.

But then I had a late lunch with my buddy Brad and his girlfriend Angelique yesterday. Angelique is her Florida name; she grew up as a Mary Jane Morrow in Western Pennsylvania. Pretty little girl about twenty. Can really fill a bikini.

Anyway the first time I met her, at a party a couple of weeks ago, she’d mentioned she was attending the Art Institute. We didn’t get much of a chance to talk so I just assumed she was studying painting or something arty.

So yesterday at about two, as we were watching the boats go by, and after she’d told me she’d spent the morning in class, I casually asked her what she’d been painting.

“Painting?” she asked with a confused look on her face.

“At school,” I suggested tentatively.

“We don’t paint the food Rod,” the little sweetie said with a laugh as she gave her boyfriend a quick ‘who’s this nut we’re eating with’ stare.

I’ll admit I was confused for a sec or two…or three. What’s she been smoking I wondered, knowing Brad was famous for finding the most whacked up broads in SoBe. And that’s saying something!

“She’s studying cooking, Angel’s going to be a chef,” Brad finally supplied.

“At the Art Institute?” I questioned disbelievingly.

Well it turns out that the famous Art Institute in fact is 95% cooking school if you can believe it.

“It’s a fully accredited college,” lovely Angelique supplied after we’d all got onto the same page.

“You get a College degree in cooking?” I asked as I tried to keep the skepticism out of my voice.

“Bachelor of Science in Culinary Arts and I’m going to be Magna Cum Laude,” the little vixen said proudly.

I didn’t say that I’d like to Cum Magna Laude in her oven but the thought did cross my mind as my eyes slipped to the deep décolleté cut of her summer dress.

So Lady F :) my suggestion is this – the next time you’re in class and you put something in the oven and have a half hour or so to wait for whatever it is your cooking to rise, why don’t you sit back, put your feet up on the kitchen counter, doff the white hat, and click open my story… here’s the link just in case you lost it…

Funny you should mention the Art Institute. I have been talking to their admissions department. No, not for a degree in culinary arts. If I do study at AI, it will be for a degree in Graphic Arts.

The B.S. I am finishing now is in psychology...
so, just hold on, Scouries... try to maintain for another year, then you can be my first case study. ;)

Just kidding! You can't do counseling without a master's degree. I've been told by many that I should pursue that, but I have no intention of doing so at this time. I just wanted to finish my B.S. in psychology, because I was so close to finishing it. Just a little closure on something I had put off while my children were young. My daughter is 16 and just started taking college classes. I thought I better get back to work on mine as well. If I do go back into the mental health field, I'll probably study art therapy first.

cheerful_deviant joined LITEROTICA in 2004 and immediately became a devotee of the famous MCer Master Hypnotist (an eight time club member). Although the ‘cheerful one’ doesn’t specify his/her sex in his/her profile I think its safe to say after reading his/her words that he/she prefers women to men! Which is good. Unfortunately this author hasn’t produced any new work since 2005 (is he she still among the living?) but readers do have a choice of nine stories by this wonderful author.

It is with great pleasure that we welcome this ‘deviant’ into our club.

Congratulations and welcome from all your fellow club members!!!

Please read and comment on this writers stories!

Another cheap shot L F :(! I think you better discuss these scourian issues of yours with your mental health professional!

Maybe you and the daughter can go to the AI together. You could stay in Miami Beach and I could hire you as a cook and her as a housekeeper/maid. You could also use the
ScouriesWorldHealthCenter
facilities free. Doctor Scouries ;) at your service!

And if it worked out maybe you could write one of those mother/daughter/doctor lover triangle GROUP SEX stories that seem so popular these days. I can see it now:

“I Made a Post Impressionist Painting of His Penis…”
…but my daughter thought Scouries was Seurat…she got the point…
by LadyFriskystein :)

I also notice you’ve been very busy these days – you had four new stories up yesterday – no wonder you still haven’t got around to mine. Priorities babe! You gotta have priorities! And what’s this:

I posted this on his other thread, but if he is serious about promoting work...

A wonderful review on my novel, Bound by Love.

By Night Owl Romance. Here is what they said:

Stolen from her apartment by a man dressed as a Conan wannabe, Adrianna is stunned to find herself suddenly in what can only be another dimension. Kidnapped by Lord Damien as a gift to his most trusted Knight Kaden, Adrianna is suddenly a sex slave. Bound to her bed naked, confused and royally pissed, Adrianna is in for a surprise. But Kaden is in for a big surprise himself.

Emotion is usually not expected between a sex slave and her master, but it was immediately present between Kaden and Adrianna. While both denied it, the reader certainly knows what's going on. Reading of Adrianna's defiance, and subsequent punishments, often made me wince, but as slavery, dominance, and chauvinism are an integral part of the world that Adrianna now finds herself in, it isn't too hard to take.

Ms. Stone has a true talent for writing a great love story. While out of the ordinary, it delivers on an epic scale. Conflict, mystery, romance, lust, love, and betrayal are big players in this tale of an unwanted love. And it's not just a story about Kaden and Adrianna. There are two sub-stories as well that are equally intriguing and satisfying for the reader. I hope the author revisits Daring Castle and it's complicated political environment in the future. I'm sure I'll find myself reading this tale again. Definitely a must read.

Bound by Love is available through www.phaze.com!

a real unsafe bet on danikat...

Well I thought that bran muffin :( thread had disappeared into the great LITEROTICA unknown but it just keeps on popping up! Danikat  just can’t let it go!

I was also hoping she (and her construct :caning:) was going to honor her bet and not post here for a week. She lasted a couple of days!

Personally, although I don’t do it myself, I don’t see anything wrong with an author promoting her own works. It a time honored part of selling books. So if Miss Kitten  wants to write a self serving review of her own work I’m all for it.

But to put it on the “Daddy”, I Whispered thread? To post it on the world famous Scouies thread and try and ride on the coattails of yours truly. BIG MISTAKE!

I’m afraid you’re work is going to suffer badly by comparison my dear!

For those of you who missed the danikat’s  review, here it is in its entirety:

Very nice review. Wrong placement. There's a place at the top of the categories for this. Posting it here was asking for what you're getting. (So I guess you're getting the reaction you wanted to get.)

Yep, to prove to Jimbo here that even working for someplace like Walmart, if you work really hard and practice your writing more than your ego, maybe you can make something out of yourself.

But in truth, though the review made me feel pretty good, it doesn't mean all that much.

Nice button, Dani but...

Naughty but nice?

I read naughty, but what happened to nice?

Why do you bother, Dani? Why do you let him under your skin?

He's probably sitting in his Barca-lounger laughing at you spinning around.

Ignore him.

By the way, you have enough credits and enough successes that you should beat him at his own game and start your own thread. Surely, you have the fan base to support such a thread. There, you could post your reviews and even post some excepts to your books.

You could even invite celebrities to make a post to your thread.

I've been trying to get Oprah to post to one of my stories, but she doesn't want her public to know that she reads my stuff. I think her lesbian lover, Gayle King has made a few posts, though.

When you make the posts that you have made to Scouries thread, you're only hurting yourself.

I'll tell you what. I'll start a thread and you can post to that and forget about posting to Scouries thread.

Now, take a breath and relax.

C'mon, I'll buy you a cup of coffee.

Hey, Ace, did you receive a PM from a guy looking for an editor? He sent me an e-mail asking if I'd edit his stories. I know, I laughed, too. I told him that I was the worst editor and an even worse speller. He gave me run down on some of the stories he was writing and a few of them sounded like something that may interest you.

He had scenarios where there was a threesome and one guy was forced to suck the other off or something like that. He lost me when he started writing about gay and bi-sexual stuff. I told him that I wasn't into that. He wrote back asking where to find you. I told him to check the author's index and to use your contact link.

Just wondering if he contacted you and if you were interested in helping him out.
