After a particularly tough primary Eric won election as NYC mayor against an unpopular republican opponent. He promised to clean up the mess that de Blasio had made of the city. I, for one, believe that Eric was sincere in his desire to do just that and I think he might of made headway if circumstances hadn’t conspired against him
Eric got hit with a double whammy. First of all he got saddled with a Soros funded DA that thwarted every effort he made to round up the dregs of society to ‘take a bite out of crime.’ And then the Biden illegal wave started to flood the city compounding the problem and making the de Blasio years look almost idyllic.
He couldn’t do anything about Fat Alvin but he could bitch to the Biden administration about the illegal situation, and he did just that. About as soon as he opened his mouth he got hit with Federal campaign finance charges (federal charges for a city election?). Perhaps those charges are perfectly legitimate but the timing is certainly suspicious. That along with a host of the usual sexual misconduct allegations that are so popular these days.
Trump would probably want to work with Adams re. the illegal problems but I’m pretty sure ole Fat Letitia along with Clueless Hochul will find some new charges to bring against Adams if he does try to work with Trump.
All while NYC slides further into the pit of shit. Poor ole Eric never stood a chance.
