Democrats, for the most part seem to possess an alternative residual self-image: Secular Crusaders, the Upholders of Justice.
Example: I’m watching Whoopi Goldberg go on an angry, animated rant, [paraphrase; used pause and rewind to follow the rant] “Lets stop this both sides stuff it’s not correct it is not both sides, it is one clear side, and you can point to many, many reports, you can point to all kinds of stuff that has been [begins mumbling, could not think of another example, then loses a little bit of coherency: too angry to think it through], that’s been reported (in her news feeds/sources/bubble). You guys have to pull it back, this is not us or them, this is you guys [gesticulates wildly] gotta stop doing what you’re doing, J.D, and what you’re doing Mr. T [I’m doing Skecher's™ commercials. I pity you fool!]…,”
This rhetoric and appeals to emotion are what Vice-President Harris and her Party hopes wins the swing states. Whoopi is just whipping the base (into a frenzy of emotion).
It’s mostly peaceful rhetoric. Nothing offensive. You can say anything you want and Trump is a criminal and so are his MAGA Deplorables, so pretty much anything goes.
RHETORICALLY!!!
You cannot blame us if anyone acts on what we say. We are protected by the First Amendment.
And we are the educated and talented, the successful and accomplished, the rich and powerful, the Patrician Class.
You Deplorables should listen to us.
