Awesome news! I really hope others take inspiration from them. A group of women have formed a self-defense group called the Red Brigade in order to try to stop rape culture. Obviously, education would be a preferable method, but I can't say I disagree with this interim solution.

My very first rejection letter was for a story about an Iraqi woman scientist forced to work on a bio-weapon to smite the heretics, who made it 99% effective on Men but only 90% effective on women.

This leads to a world where there are 10 women for every man.

My first lesson in Self Defence was, "Don't worry about hurting your attacker." It was unfortunately seriously needed. We were all hesitant about hurting anyone - even someone who was clearly going to cause us great harm.

Yes. That instructor was on the money.

There is no mercy on the street and I tell my girls to keep in mind what this person intends to do to you.

Many of these women have already been victims of an assault either sexual or just plain abuse. I have come under fire by a few other instructors because when I teach I tell them to envision what happened to them and take that pain, humiliation and rage and use it.

I also don;t like the technique of if you blind them or get them on the ground to turn and run. You NEVER let up because they will not.

When they go down you keep them there and I am not above telling them to kick the piece of shit in the head while he's lying there.

But that poor medical student was in a country where women are barely allowed the right to breathe let alone learn to defend themselves.

The only defense a woman has in that cesspool is to move and attend college in another country and stay there.

Considering their desire to bring change to a society that oppresses a weaker majority, the reference to communist cells may be a feature, not a bug.

I found this very interesting and it shows that people have to fight for the right to have rights. Very brave of these women to stand up and and say, "I'm Mad as Hell, and I'm not going to take it any more!"

There by forcing their society to address the issue.

As a pervert I contrasted this a bit to the recent 'Terror in Toronto'.

I was imagining groups of young males clad in Black cruising the bars looking for MILF-packs, who stalk innocent Canadian teens. Luring them into their "Mommy mobiles" and doing horrible acts of sexual perversions to them.
