Who is oppressed by today's Christians? Perhaps they attempt to oppress homosexuals, but even in that regard they are weak and ineffective.

Certainly Christianity (as was every other religion ever) has been used as an excuse to oppress and conquer peoples, but overall, its record is no worse and no better than any other religion, or political, or nationalist agenda in those regards.

I suppose I should clarify that


many christians in North America claim to be oppressed..despite national holidays dedicated to their religon, every President being christian, being able to openly worship, having their churches tax exempt and their ability to influence politics on every scale.. from local to federal


they aren't being persecuted, but you can't turn on the tv without hearing about how their being oppressed or a story in which they've tried imposing their morality into law


I know a great many good christian...I was a catholic myself...


and I have been in Islamic nations, they sure as shit arent fun places to stay too long
