I haven't had cable in many years - mainly because I just don't watch enough television to warrant the expense, and when I do choose to watch it, I usually tune into the regular channels.
But recently I moved into a new apt. and guess what? Cable access is free. So I've spent 1/2 the weekend flipping that damn channel changer and feeding my face in front of the TV. It was gorgeous this weekend but did I go to the lake? Nooooooo, I stayed up watching "The Real World" on MTV for like 3 hours!!
What is it about that show that just sucks you in? I mean, like Duuuude.... (hehe.. see? I'm even talking like those incredibly self-absorbed whiney people)...
I must immediately begin a detox program to rid myself of this blood sucking addiction to cable.
