The Real Goal of the Abraham Accords - Jared $$$$

But how is peace coming along? Surely the pressure has led to the Palestinians securing a deal with Israel

No?

Hmmm....

He actually proved to be very effective as a conduit between the Jews and the Muslims of the ME.

He's not a dummy and he established connections while working for his father-in-law.

He's pretty savvy when it comes to investing too. But haters gotta hate...

He's the smart nepotism guy.

he was a BILLIONAIRE before he became a son in law

try again
Was he?

And if he was, we can ignore two more billion, I guess.

And since they never signed the accords.

And such.

You seem to be letting Trump get the best of your reason...

I've noticed he has that effect on people,
but it's no reason to diminish his son-in-law
without even knowing him on any level other than the news you consume
and your feelings towards President Trump, why did manage to reach peace agreements
in the Middle East with the competent assistance of his daughter's husband. He was a good fit.

Clearly the Saudis see that and are willing to invest in it.

To me the question is, are things better in the region since the accords?

It would appear to be so; relations thawed between a number of countries and Israel.

Which ones and what is your measure?

Please provide pre and post metrics.

In other words, you think things are exactly the same.

Good to know that your TDS is that pervasive.

Google is your friend: https://www.brookings.edu/research/the-emergence-of-gcc-israel-relations-in-a-changing-middle-east/
I assume you see this as proving your point....not sure why. It's a fluff peace that gives no real measured results from the 2020 deal. Might as well just give me a gif of cheerleaders with "Abraham Accord Did the Things" on it.

You're the one who is saying things are better. Yet again, you are telling me to prove something you claim. Fuck off....do it yourself.

To conclude, relations between most Gulf states and Israel are not new or uniform, but changes in regional dynamics have given some GCC members a new strategic imperative for drawing closer to their former adversary.

Are conditions there better or worse since the accords?

It seems to me, based upon a dearth of news that they must be better...

I'm sure that you could prove that immediately with a non-fluff piece
since any evidence I offer up is clearly going to be dismissed as "inconvenient" to your beliefs.

You've given no metric to actually address the question. You seen to believe it has, yet the only article you've provided doesn't really support that outside of an analysis of relations between countries that already had relations since the 90s

The violent events between Israel and the Palestinians hasnt been reduced in any measure I've found.

Typically peace has a small reduction in that

"Prove me wrong"

Lol ..got it.

Metallica is the worst band ever....Google it

So the Egyptian peace is a meaningless metric?
The Saudi normalization of relations is a meaningless metric?
There are many other countries which have normalized relations, but
you seem to want links, maps, numbers, expert confirmation from the Left...

I want metrics and evidence of those metrics.

If countries who already had economic relations who have now had them "normalized" is your metric, then fine....they were successful for a handful of countries. Great job everybody.

The word peace seems to come up often when discussing the efforts in the middle east, so I tend to focus on that a bit more. The number of attacks and dead citizens in the area hasn't seemed to decrease any. Maybe I'm just focusing on the wrong things.

But hey...Kushner can buy a new mansion
