Having a theme for a thread or asking people to post photos of a certain type in a thread is not bullying. No person here has ever been individually called out for their posts. Asking posters in general to consider whether their photos meet the theme of a thread is not bullying. My general feeling is that having a tummy that isn't completely flat or concave doesn't mean that one has a chubby tummy. It just means having a normal tummy. However, I want to be supportive of anyone who feels like they have a chubby tummy.
But I also ask people, for this thread, to consider how their post of their empirically normal or mildly chubby tummy will influence the confidence of people with really chubby/fat tummies in posting their photos here, which is the main goal of the thread. Empathy goes both ways. I, as a fat woman, need to have empathy for people much thinner than me who feel like they are fat or chubby. Those people who are closer to the "normal" end of the weight spectrum also need to have empathy for fatter or chubbier people who would like a space to post their photos that is more dedicated to people of similar size.
So let's all try to be empathetic towards each other and not immediately jump to conclusions of bullying or ill intentions on either side. Thanks for reading.
