The rule should only apply if both people, or rather, all involved, agree in advance, Otherwise, why not savor the time, however long it is?

The whole idea of the initial thread was that it was for people who didn't necessarily have time for a long cyber....otherwise why not just use the Blue Room?

Hi Mark .... there is another thread, called The Blue Room, which is basically where you should go if you really want to take your time and savour every moment .... this thread really is as the title .... for "Quickies" ....

And VN....you need to have some kind of time limit on it, because you need to ensure that people actually do finish off....so if you time limit it then people will give it their full attention for as long as they are playing....and there's a no interruption rule too...therefore it could be running overnight for example which means other people can't use it if you're in the middle of it....

Ok..15 mins straight..just to finish is somehow impossible unles ,you not doing anything just to sit and finish those quickie cyber,however both parties should be available..not saying overnight...at least not 15 mins..like I said just my views...not into debate.

OK, no time limit....but people need to finish what they start so others can use the thread without interrupting....so no 'overnighters' and as quick as you can manage, is that more reasonable?

I think you'd have to keep it to the 2 posting, Dee .... if more than 2 wanted to participate, you could do that in the Blue Room, if you stated beforehand that others could join in ....

LOL...I didn't mean 15 minutes, higher and I have proved it can't be done....but say a max of one hour? Then it is actually a 'quickie' and others can use the thread once you've finished. If people stick to the 'no-interruption' rule then it can be done....and really, you shouldn't use this thread unless you intend to complete it quickly, isn't that the whole point of it? It's still possible to post in other threads while you're waiting for your partner to respond, higher and I both did it today, you just have to be alert and watch for it so you can respond quickly too...

Thanks for your input, Sis .... I think the sensible thing would be no time limit, but just urge everyone to be as quick as they can, and if there is too much of a delay after a post (say an hour or more) then 2 more people are quite welcome to start their own ....
