Did you get up this morning telling yourself that you were going to immediately get to work...after that five minutes to check in with Lit...only to find yourself caught here for the rest of the day?

Are you a champion finals procrastinator?

Well here is the place to continue the vicious cycle!

So tell me: what are you supposed to be doing now instead of looking at this silly thread? I'm supposed to be writing a screenplay treatment.

haha 3 papers two finals. I did absolutely nothing today, because i have monday off and the ultimate procrastinater always puts it off til the last possible moment. long as i pass ill be happy.

Pyper, what's a screenplay treatment?

It's an extended summary of a film idea. Its purpose is to pitch a screenplay to a studio without actually having to go through the trouble of writing the entire screenplay first. In real life, you would send the treatment around to different studios, hoping that they buy a prospect for it (around $7,000). Then you would write the screenplay itself and hope they buy that too.

Of course, I'm just a lil ole college student, so this is just a practice treatment and is my final for my screenwriting class.

Finished it in an hour and a half. Done for the semester, thank god. Thats two papers and three tests. All out of the way, done, finished. Now let the sucky parttime job begin again!

I have to write a paper for one class, read and memorize 5 chapters for another class's final, read an literally impossibly long amount of texts for another class's final, and just read a few chapters and catch up for another class's final.

Also, I need to get a haircut, clean my desk, sleep, write some checks, and plan out my classes for the next 1-2 years. I'd also like to start coming up with Christmas present ideas for these damn relatives and friends.

Ideally, I could clean up our bathroom, see one of the movies that has come out in the last few months, and finish the erotic story I've been writing for the last couple of months. And have sex with someone.

Luckily, we're in finals and I have much more time than the rest of the year.
