The Princess Bride

Another thought I had, was instead of him the internal monologue, Fezzik asks him afterwards how it went, and he replies, "It was at once the most irritating and satisfying sex of my life." To which Fezzik responds, "Oh, so you were a virgin then." Then it takes the flabbergasted Inigo a moment to spit out, "No!"
That’s pretty damn good! 😂

This is an evergreen statement. There are only 2 books I’ve ever read where the movie was better.
i agree on PB whats the other one?

i totally had a crush on the buttercup growing up, and may even have dressed up as DPR one hollowneen with my bff as BCup.
there is nothing noncanon about DRP being a woman... or so i tell myself ;)

I’d love to do a story where the DRP is a woman in one of her iterations. That would be fun & surprising & a thoroughly enjoyable read.

The other movie that was better than the book was The Shawshank Redemption.

So a sequel where Buttercup and Wesleys daughter becomes the DPR would be fun. Her parents are murdered and she must find Enigo to train her before finding the Revenge, claiming the captainship and using it track down her parents murderers.

I mean that went pretty damned dark, but wow! It’s an idea.
