This idea comes from a French porno called La Princesse et la Pute. In that film, the de facto rulers of the Principality of San-Clito decide to swap the sweet and pure Princess Sofia with Helga — the so-called queen of sex, a nymphomaniac prostitute. The porno itself doesn’t lean much into the power-play angle, which I felt was a wasted opportunity given the premise.
So, how about we repackage it as a true power-play setup?
A long time ago, there was a princess whose father, the king, was highly paranoid. He kept her hidden away in the palace, never allowing her to be seen by the citizens. Apart from a few high-ranking courtiers, no one knew what she looked like. One day, tired of her father’s restrictions, she runs away from the palace. But she hasn’t thought things through. She quickly learns how ugly and harsh the real world can be, and she becomes lost with no way to return home.
Eventually, she’s taken in by a female pimp. Whether it’s through persuasive talk about “sexual freedom” or simply out of desperation, the princess begins working as a prostitute. She befriends another girl around her age at the brothel — but because of her noble upbringing, she treats the girl with a certain haughtiness, planting the seeds of resentment.
Over time, their bond grows and the princess eventually confides in her friend about her true identity. The friend is sceptical at first, but later becomes convinced. They remain in this strange friendship for months, until news of the king’s death reaches them.
Here’s where the twist comes in: the friend, who has been quietly learning about court life, palace politics, and the high society from the princess, makes her move. By sheer luck, there’s a faction of nobles looking for a puppet queen to control the throne. The friend betrays the princess, takes her identity, and is installed as the puppet ruler. She now lives in luxury, but occasionally returns to the brothel to check on the real princess.
From there, the story could go in multiple directions — the false queen might humiliate and dominate the real princess, keeping her in poverty and destitution, or the princess could scheme to take back her throne.
