My husband and I were married twelve years ago by a priest and a minister (no, this isn't one of those priest/minister/rabbi jokes, I'm serious).
We really liked both of them, but hadn't kept up with them very much. Thankfully, we emailed both of them on our tenth anniversary and traded well-wishes.
Anyway, the priest died a couple of weeks ago of a heart attack in his late sixties.
Aside from the amorphous grief I'm feeling - it's difficult to wrap my emotions around the loss of someone whom I hadn't been in touch with - I'm suddenly feeling old.
