"The ban against the use of chemical weapons, even in war, has been agreed to by 98 percent of humanity. It is strengthened by the searing memories of soldiers suffocated in the trenches; Jews slaughtered in gas chambers; and Iranians poisoned in the many tens of thousands."

What did he leave out?

The Kurds.

He could not mention the Kurds because then he wanted to go on and say this:

"Nevertheless, a leader who slaughtered his citizens and gassed children to death cannot regain the legitimacy to lead a badly fractured country."

You see, that would give a taint of hypocrisy towards the removal of Saddam...

Gas atrocities?

There was that Dutch Oven you did to your first wife . . . .

Okay, that was atrocious.

It's a pity, that he doesn't put the same amount of effort in fixing our economy, as oppose to fixing others, oh wait, he does, my bad.

The big pity is that he can extend a hand, dialog and understanding to every two-bit thug and terrorist organization out there in the hope of some sort of compromise and agreement but cannot possibly compromise with the Republicans, it is his way or the government is shut down, which at this point, to the majority of Americans, is starting to sound like a damned good thing as long as it is not a temporary cessation of hostilities towards our civilian population but a long-term withdrawal!

He alluded to WMDs! OMG

He alluded to WMDs! OMG

Yeah, and any ruler who used them in the past, needs to be removed as illegitimate.

;) ;)

That's why he could make nice to gassed Iran, but had to exclude the gassed Kurds; logic trap.

His writers know that even if he doesn't...

Of course, he did mention the Kurds.

So AJ, do you think we should put boots on the ground in Syria then?

Hmmm?

He won't answer this.

Damn curds are a gas problem of global proportions.

Notice how on Planet AJ it is always...ALWAYS....the responsibility of the not-Republicans to compromise.
