The President is a Slack-Jawed Monkey (NOT a political thread)

Bill Maher:

"I don't know if you saw this – but George Bush and Laura appeared on the “Dr. Phil” show. Dr. Phil asked them what they thought about the epidemic of oral sex in our middle schools. Right after the taping, Bush cut off all the funding for Head Start.

"And speaking of which, this was the story of the week that just blew my mind. Apparently, Justice Antonin Scalia of the Supreme Court said the other day that sexual orgies eliminate tension and ought to be encouraged. I'm not kidding. That's what he said. Apparently, he first got interested in group sex back in 2000 when he and four of the justices of the Supreme Court all got together and fucked Al Gore."

I've been in this country shereads. And I'm an independent voter. I'm also a healthcare professional and know how things work. You want me to believe someone like Kerry? lmfao

Please, look at my earlier post and answer each question. What about the draft? How is he going to fund the healthcare initiative he wants? How is he going to raise troops for an all volunteer Army? How is he going to increase funding for the defense? And how is he going to cut taxes at the sametime? 800 million is the highest estimate he can cut from taxes. His budget is 1.2 trillion.

He wants to give an increased 1000 dollars to childcare. He wants to cut taxes for the middle and lower class and raise them for the upper. What is wrong with this mathematical equation?
Then he promises to cut the deficit in half???????????? Yea, sure. I fell off the turnip wagon yesterday.

LDW, the dollar has been devalued 20% since Bush took office and the defict hasn't even kicked in yet. When it does we may very well go back to the high inflation of the seventies when price controls had to be implemented. When that happens, wages will not keep up with inflation and that will be true of yours as a nurse.

Automobile rebates were first introduced in the sixties because people could not borrow cash due to inflation. People actually bought cars, financed by the manufacturers, to get a few thousand dollars cash rebate.

I would bet that the huge increase in the price of fuel oil will kill more more Americans this winter than were killed by the 9/11 terrorists.

The Bush crowd has so mismanaged the economy, that many Republicans are now openly voicing concern. To think that this country is so strong that nothing can happen to bring it down is to be naive in the extreme.

It is also naive to think that just because people are in positions of power that they are smart.

Our greatest threat is not the nukes of North Korea or Iran, it is the economic policies of the neocons.

Whatever Kerry's policies, they cannot be worse than taking a five trillion dollar surplus and turning it into a two or three trillion dollar deficit as the Bush handlers have done.

A few years ago I was paying about $100 per month for health insurance. Today I pay over $900 per month and it is going up every year. Many small businesses I personally know of have had to eliminate insurance benefits to employees.

Yes the middle class will be picking up the cost of universal health care, they are paying it right now. Most of today's health care cost is paid by employer provided insurance and government programs which means it is paid for by the middle class.

Health care profits are outrageous and approximately 20% of the costs are for administration. In 2003 they amounted to over $1,059 for every man woman and child in the US. http://consumeraffairs.com/news03/health_costs.html

The 500 bed hospital in the small town of 90,000 where I live made a profit of $189,000,000 last year.

I was going into the whole health care issue, but why waste the time. Fuck it.
