1) That's why we use gloves for manual anal play. Then no one has to worry about heavy handwashing, serious nailclipping, or nasty germs getting trapped in the nooks and crannies of the fingers/nails. It's a lot easier to slip off a glove than run to the bathroom to wash our hands well, and the glove serves as a reminder that the gloved hand is dedicated to one activity. The same goes for condoms; we always use them for anal sex and with all but two toys (which can be sanitized and are dedicated to anal on him alone).

Barriers just make for far easier clean-up, less interruption and risk of cross-contamination.

2) You have to remember that porn is heavily edited and all about appearances. From what I've heard, it's uncommon for them to do ATV or ATM without condoms and/or serious cleaning first. They do one anal activity, slip off the condom and/or clean up, then do oral or vaginal in the next take.



It depends on the people involved. Anal can be extremely pleasurable for both men and women if they're into it and use the right techniques. It can be so-so or bad for some people. It's just a matter of personal preferences and techniques.

In general, it has a leg up on vaginal sex because the rectum has a ton of nerve endings throughout, whereas only the first third of the vagina is sensitive. It also has tighter/stronger muscles than the vagina, which can be more pleasurable for many men, though a lot of men certainly prefer vaginal and oral sex for a variety of reasons.

Anal Experience with a nurse friend...

She and I had a lot of fun in our encounter largely because we talked about all of these issues ahead of time. We brought plenty of condoms and I always switched between anal and vagina, and brought a good water based lube. For her part she had done an enema earlier. In her experience being clean as possible is best.
