The Playground is intimidating - send the newbies there!

I ventured over to The Playground a few minutes ago (hold off on the rock throwing. . .I came back ). It was scary!! On page one, there were only 5 threads with less than 100 replies. And you people bitch about the never-ending threads here.

I think all newbies should be required to spend one full week posting over there. If they survive, then they can come over here. What do ya think? Make a boot camp for newbies?

Actually, I did hang out in the Personals for a while. Now I hardly recognize anybody. I'm not saying they're bad over there. . .they just talk alot.

You haven't been here quite long enough. The Playground may be intimidating in sizemongering, but the GB has the teeth. Eventually a group of people will PMS at the same time and booooom.

Considering what I've been seeing lately, I don't think we'll have much longer to go before the crap hits the fan all over again.

Like most of the rest I venture over there every now and again, the Georgia Directory is my baby, I tend it well.

Some of the threads can be a bit intimidating but the people are wonderful for the most part. Heck, thats were I met Cutie and MissT.

I started there (back when it was still part of the personals), and still regularly lurk around there.

When it was moved, it was killed.

That simple.

It was a community as close as the general board is and some of the threads were brilliant.

I hang out in the "aussies" thread, which is full of many many great people.

The board itself, while having alot of new commers, still have many of my old friends who never really venture over here.

I have been told by more than a few people that "the people are scarey in general".

When i first started comming here, I was intimidated as all fuck... hell i still am at times.

I guess it all comes down to where you grew up
