I'll volunteer to do testing on "how many peeps will a standard 28" arrow, fired from a 68# test bow at 20 yards, penetrate?" I'm thinking as a preliminary theorem that it may take a depth greater than the length of the arrow.

Hmm... a pyl will be needed to retrieve the arrow(s) from the depths of the piled-up peeps, and then clean the detritus from the shaft(s) and flight(s).

Hmmm....I had a switching of the gears when you mentioned archery. What abou the use of hardened peeps as ammunition in siege weaponry. Launching peeps with a trebuchet....

this seems like a very strange topic to me....but perhaps hydroflouric acid, or just pure flourine gas for an intestesting test.....flourine will etch it's way out of a glass container if you leave it in one....so I doubt it will have a problem with a peep.....
