Stone looked impatiently at the clock on his computer as he briefly zoned out of the phone conference. It was 8:53 and he already had to other phone calls to return before his 9:00 meeting with his new paralegal. To say he was overwhelmed would be an understatement. The entire 35 years of his life had been overwhelming. Law partner at a large medical malpractice firm by 29, Stone was used to life moving fast and his calender being full.

Although he had a loving wife, there was a side she didn't understand. The large home in the suburbs, the luxury SUV and the European vacations all came at a cost greater than money. It was by long hours and stress that provided those benefits. The daily run was the only hobby alotted for the tall young looking attorney. For all intents and purposes, he was easy married to his work. Having grown used to the occasional flirtations from other woman, Stone had never been unfaithful yet he longed for something more. Someone who understood.

The call ending abruptly, Stone quickly glanced at the resume of Jayne, his newly hired paralegal. He breathes a sigh of relief, maybe she will be able to help alleviate some of this workload...

Jayne looked at the time on her screen as she put her bag on her desk while she pulled her chair back and sat down. It was 8:53 and she barely had 5 minutes before her 9:00 meeting with her new boss, Stone. She had only just been hired, and had only met with Stone briefly during her second interview with the company and having spent her first few days on a training for new employees today was her first real day of work.

Her desk was not far away from his office, Jayne was in the more open plan area of the floor and as she grabbed a pad and pen she stood up and headed towards Stone's office. Jayne today had put her brown hair up into a high ponytail, she had gone with minimal pink makeup this morning...eyeshadow, shiny lip, and blush. As she stood she brushed down the dress she wore, a summery, belted, button-down, white shirt dress that had stripes and mesh panels on the bottom of the skirt.

The layout of the floor meant that she could see Stone before she got to his office and as she approached she smiled softly as she stepped into his office, seeing him with papers in his hand.

"Busy?" She asked, "we had a 9 o'clock this morning."

"Jayne, come on in." Stone motioned to the leather chair in front of his desk. His eyes glancing at his new paralegals body as she sat down. "Wow, she is looking good today" Stone thought as he retook his seat.

What Jayne didn't know was that underneath this hard work over achiever image was a man with a strong sexual drive. A drive that was essentially repressed. Gone were they college and law school flings. But secretly Stone longed for the excitement. He had a recurring fantasy of an assistant that could please him both professionally and physically. Someone totally committed to meeting his needs. Often in his quiet time he would dream about an office affair satisfying his every need. But those were just dreams. Diminished by the harsh reality of stress and lack of opportunity. "Until now" Stone thought.

"So are you getting settled in?" he asked.

She walked in, smiling at him as she took hold of the chair, pulling it back she sat down, resting the pad in her lap as she looked across the desk at him, nodding as he spoke. "Yes, I mean it's early days yet but everyone's been very nice so far," she replied.

"Well I'm glad you're here. I have a trial at the end of the week and have got to get these exhibits in order. "

Stone nodded towards the large box sitting on the edge of a conference table in the corner of his office. The table was covered with brown folders, yellow legal pads and large 3 ring binders. Stone's office was on the top floor. Large ceiling to floor windows were on three sides and overlooked downtown.

"I know it's just your first week, but it's going to be a busy few days. I may need you to help me after hours to get prepared. Do you think you can stay after to help? "

As he nodded over, Jayne turned and looked towards the corner of the office and saw the box on the table before she turned back to look at him, "sure I should be able too," she said with her own nod as she was eager to impress her new boss.

The rest of the day Stone was looking forward to that evening. In part, he was thankful for the help. But in another part, he was excited to get to spend a few hours with Jayne. She looked so beautiful this morning and he could not get her out of his mind. The thought of Jayne's smile, her full breasts and her legs kept recurring while he worked. He hoped he could hide his excitement.

At 5:00, Stone heard a knock on his door. It was Jayne sticking her head in..

By 9.30 she was back at her desk and barring a few trips to the restroom and to get some water she stayed there all morning. Taking a break for lunch she went with one of her new colleagues to a nearby store where they bought some food, chatting all the way there and all the way back to her desk, Jayne sat at her desk and worked while she ate.

She hadn't seen him since this morning and as it got time to finishing she turned off her computer and grabbed her bag. She looked over and saw the light on in his office and so she headed over and knocked on the door smiling at him as he looked up, "do you need me to stay?"

Looking up to see her smile, it immediately put him at ease. This girl was good for him, he thought, especially after such a stressful day.

"Come on in and make your self comfortable" he insisted.

Stone had Jayne have a seat next to him at the conference table and they began the process of going through files. About two hours in the sun had set and the bright lights of downtown shown through the windows in Stones office.

As they worked, they made small talk. Jayne and Stone shared embarrassing stories about first day work experiences and laughed together. Stone got them both a beer and took off his tie. Occasionally their hands would brush against each other sending chills down Stone's spine. At one point, they made eye contact and Stone looked at Jayne and said "thank you for this. I really needed to laugh and you have an incredible smile."

The gaze lingered until suddenly aware of the circumstances, Stone blurted out "I guess you need to be going soon. I'm sure there is someone there waiting..."

Jayne sat back in the chair as she nodded and tried to hide a yawn, "sorry," she said covering her mouth. "It has been a long first day," she admitted as pushed herself back on the chair a little and brought her bag into her lap opening it and looking into it. "The only thing waiting for me is a beer," she said with a smile as she stood up.

Looking over the table at her boss she leaned over it as she gathered up some papers into a pile, as she leant forward her shirt fell forward just a little. Standing back up straight she looked over at him. "Don't be here all night," she said as she picked up her bag.

When she arrived back to work the next morning she looked up once again and saw the light on in Stone's office and putting her bag down on her desk she walked over and stood in the doorway as she saw him sat at his desk. "You didn't sleep here last night did you?" She joked as she stood there.

Having made some plans for her evening Jayne had done to work in a black, sleeveless mini dress that had a ruffled hem and a big lily print across the front. She had left her hair down today and smiled at Stone as he looked over his desk towards her in the doorway. "What do you need me to do today?" She asked.

Stone glanced up and was struck by how incredible Jayne looked this morning.

"No I went home for a few hours but got back in around 4 am this morning. I like to work when its quiet in here. But I have had a headache all morning. You don't happen to be a massage therapist do you?" Stone said with a laugh. "You will learn I have all kinds of crazy requests..."

"Yes, she's called your wife," Jayne said with a laugh, before adding, "but I do have some Advil if you want some, and if you haven't eaten that sometimes helps."

She stood there for a few more seconds watching him, "I can't stay as late tonight, got plans, this is why the dress, it's probably not office wear, but it was better then bringing a change of clothes." She explained before she turned to head back to her desk.

"well you look incredible " stone said as his eyes worked their way up and down her body. "just be careful dressing like that... You will have me totally distracted " he said with a smile.

"So do you have a date tonight? I was hoping you could help Me finish preparing for trial. Any chance you could stop by after your plans? I promise it will be worth your time. "

"I can stay for some time, just not all night. And no. Not a date, just drinks at the bar down the block with a friend who is in town."

Returning to her desk Jayne spent most of the morning there, working on papers for the trial. Anytime she got up it was to go back into Stone's office to look at different papers that were spread out all over the conference table.

It got to late in the morning when Jayne walked in to his office, "I'm going to get coffee, want a break and come with me?" She asked him.

Stone spent the morning trying to prepare for trial but his mind kept wandering back to how good Jayne looked. At one point, Stone got lost in a fantasy of her. He could just imagine her lips locked into his and her legs wrapped around him as she set on the edge of the conference table. Jayne distracted Stone in a way that he had not felt in sometime. Quickly brining himself back to reality he thought "She probably isn't the kind of girl that would be open to an affair with her married boss..."

Then suddenly, Stone heard the light knock on his door and looked up to see Jayne standing there.

"Sure, Id love to join you for some coffee. I could use a break. There is a coffee shop right next door. Let me grab my office keys."

Together they made their way to the elevator.

Walking inside the elevator, Jayne pressed the button for the ground floor and stood leaning against the back of the elevator as Stone stood shoulder to shoulder with her as the doors closed and it started to descend. Outside of the building they headed towards the coffee shop, "so how is the case coming along?" Jayne asked as they walked up to the front of the shop.

Once in the elevator Stone's mind wandered even more. He wanted to take her in his arms and kiss her right there. How would she react, he wondered.

Her question, broke his train of thought. Yes the case is going well. I think we have a fair shot of winning. Thank you for all your hard work. I am very impressed at your willingness to help.

As they approached the coffee shop door, Stone held the door for her and as she passed by he lightly touched her lower back guiding her in. Just a little friendly touch but enough to test the waters. If she reciprocated then maybe she was open to more...

What you having? He asked. Grab a seat for us and I'll get our drinks.

Jayne felt his hand and smiled up at him as she walked in and glanced around the store, "oh I'll just have a black coffee, thank you," she said as she stepped over towards the front corner of the store as Stone went to line up to order. She watched him as he worked his way up the line and was still watching him as he walked over towards there table with two cups in his hands.

"Thank you," she repeated as she took her coffee, blowing on it softly as she sipped it. As they drank they talked about the case, and when she took the last sip from her cup Jayne pushed back and stood up at the side of the table, "I'm getting one to go, do you want anything?" She asked, and as she did Jayne put her hand on Stone's shoulder as he sat there finishing his coffee.

Feeling her touch, Stone smiled. He had the confirmation he was looking for. They chatted about what they enjoy doing apart from the office and when they got on the elevator to return to the office they were laughing and standing very close. As the doors opened Jayne started to walk out but Stone grabbed her hand. He quickly pushed the close doors button and as the doors closed, he pulled Jayne I'm close to him. His hand brushing her hair to the side, he kissed her deeply.

Pulling away and smiling he said "that will help me get through this afternoon. What time can you be back tonight? "

They had walked into the elevator, and with Jayne holding her take out coffee in one hand she just stepped in and let Stone hit the buttons. At first as it stopped and Stone hit the button again she smiled, and was about to say something when she felt Stone's lips on hers and felt herself kissing back for a few seconds until Stone pulled away.

Jayne managed a smile as he spoke and as she walked out of the elevator she felt her heart still racing and as she saw other colleagues she suddenly remembered where she was and tried to just act normal. They had got to his office and she stopped as she remembered his question. "Oh I don't know, and I don't think working while drunk is good for any case. I'm just going to the bar around the corner from here."

She sat back at her desk, and replayed over and over in her head what had happened in the elevator, and it was all she could think of for the rest of the afternoon, she smiled at him every time she saw him as she walked back between his office and her desk throughout the afternoon.

Her phone beeping made her jump, and as she saw a text from her friend, Jayne began gathering up her things and as she walked past Stone's office she looked in to his office to tell him she was leaving, but he wasn't there.

Stone worked hard the rest of the day. His mind kept going back to the feeling of her lips against his. Her lips were incredible. It had been so long since he had felt that type of passion, even briefly. A part of him worried, is she going to claim sexual harassment now? But then he would think of her smile at the end and shrug it off....no she enjoyed it as well.

Finishing his work a little early, Stone decided to have a little fun with the situation. He had his law school buddy meet him at the bar at 5 pm. The same bar right around the corner from the office that Jayne was going to after work.

He and his buddy drank some beer and caught up and then Stone saw Jayne enter the bar and meet her friend. She looked absolutely stunning. Stone kept glancing over occasionally. She had not seen him. After a while, he ordered them a round of shots from across the room. He watched as the waiter delivered them and smiled as Jayne looked around to see who had sent them...

Having walked out of her office building Jayne met her friend outside of the bar and they walked inside chatting and grabbing two seats at the end of the bar ordered drinks and chatted away. As the night went on the two of them chatted with each other, with the guy behind the bar, and with others sat at the bar. Getting a little hungry they ordered some bar snacks too and had just ordered fresh drinks when a waiter walked over and set two shot glasses down in front of Jayne.

Jayne was just about to say to the waiter that he must have got the order mixed up when he turned and pointed and Jayne saw Stone sitting in the far corner. Thanking the waiter, he left, and Jayne slipped down from her seat and walked across the bar.

"I stopped by your office before I left and you weren't there, now I know why." She said, "and thanks for the drinks," Jayne added as she put her hand once again on his shoulder. Saying hi to the guy that was sitting with Stone she turned and headed back to her own seat at the bar just as her friend returned from the restroom and after Jayne explained, they drank both of the shots Stone had bought for them.

Jayne looked absolutely stunning as she walked away. Feeling her touch made Stone aroused. "The things I want to do with that body" he thought.

After Jayne walked away, and resumed her place at the end of the bar, the two would occasionally make eye contact and smile. Stone finished his drink and decided to take the next move, he texted Jayne and wrote "Lets go back to my office when you get done. I walk with you." He caught her eye after she read the text and gave her a mischievous smile.

Stone waited for Jayne to finish with her friend and then he made his way to where she was sitting.

Jayne had checked her phone when it had buzzed and read the message. The evening had gone on and Jayne and her friend had ordered another round no of drinks before her friend said she had to leave. After she ordered an Uber and waited for it eventually as it arrived Jayne stood, hugging and kissing her friend goodbye and saying she had to get something from her desk when her friend offered her a ride home, Jayne sat back down at the bar.

She was just finishing her drink as Stone walked over and she looked up at him and with a soft smile asked, "and why do we need to go back to the office?"

As she asked the bartender walked over. Jayne ordered another drink for herself and whatever Stone had been drinking.

Stone smiled and after getting his next beer he toasted Jayne. "To our trial" he said.

As they talked and laughed Stone would casually touch Jayne. At one point he rested his hand on her leg under the table. Jayne's hand met Stone and their finger intertwined under the table.

"You know" Stone said " your choice of outfit isn't exactly within the firm dress code and I've been thinking about it all day." he said with a smile....
