US was supporting some common enemies of Pakistan and Turkey: PM Recep Tayyip Erdogan

Posted on 15 October 2010

Now when ever I see a character named Recep Tayyip Erdogan, I'm just not in Kansas, ya' know?

The artical goes on:
ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan has said the US was supporting some common enemies of Pakistan and Turkey and the time has come to unmask them and act together.

In an exclusive chat with this correspondent in the presence of Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani, the Turkish prime minister very candidly answered critical questions not only about Turkey-Pakistan relations but also on some other important issues before leaving Pakistan on Tuesday night.

Turkey, our stalwart Ally protecting the Dardanelles, has problems it seems with us?

So lets us reason together. What has America been doing?
Erdogan was very hard on the “double standards” of the USA and said that a recent Israeli attack on a Turkish ship Freedom Flotilla have unmasked the so-called civilised face of Washington who openly and shamelessly supported the state terrorism of Israel. “Nine Turkish martyrs on the ship received 21 bullets from Israeli soldiers in their bodies, we provided post mortem reports and even the pictures to the EU and USA but Washington is not ready to condemn the state terrorism of Israel against Turkey which means that the USA is supporting an international terrorist who killed our citizens in international waters”.

Oh that's going to hurt!

So that's a view from a random angle, Bangladeshi style? Don't you just love the internet? :D I get a kick out of foreign papers. The Manila Times during the Marcos years was classic!

Hmmm. So you think Turkey and Pakistan are in Bangledesh?

Guess what enemy of Pakistan the United States supports.

Reported in the Bangledeshi Press. Date lined Islamabad. Lots of interesting views of events from the eastern perspective. They had video of O'Reily on the View, where Woopie and the other one walked out on his lunacy. Mha ha ha!:D

I figure the Israelis can deal with their own problems. I'd support Turkey against Israel on the Flotilla fight. Interception of traffic on the high seas is bad for business, and Israel has shown no intention of living within their boarders, so...

Strange, that.
There are those in the RoW that feel the same way about the USofA, particularly with reference to technology.
Hey Ho, it's all bloody politics and can do nought for the rest of us.

Happy Weekend, folks!

PS. How do find these news journals ?

If you mean the "Bangladesh Patriot?"

Don't remember the exact tail of sites. I've been known to read Pravda and the Wall Street Journal too.

It is interesting to see how people sell themselves in different cultures.

This actually happened five months ago, and is part of the blockade Israel has established of the Gaza Strip, or Gaza, if you prefer.

Besides activists, the ships were loaded with war materiel and some humanitarian supplies. The Israelis wanted to board the ships and stop the weapons from being delivered to Gaza. Since the Gazans are constantly attacking Israeli, this seems like a reasonable idea.
