Have you ever been attracted to someone and just been to scared to take the next step? About 20 years ago I met a guy 10 years younger. I just felt so comfortable around him but could not explain it. We became friends and enjoyed doing things together that guys do. We were at each others weddings and things like that. I am still with my wife but his ended after he found he enjoyed men over women. That was just something he never shared with me though I did expect that was the way he was going by some of the things I had seen and some of his new friends. After he moved away I found myself thinking more and more about him. After about 6 years I ran in to James at a restaurant where he was working. I was with a co-worker so could not say alot but he said he would come over and visit sometime. That was 3 years ago. I have tried to find him on-line and even went back to where he worked, but no luck. I will continue to see if I can find him as now I would just like to see if we are still comfortable around each other and if we could become more comfortable.

You story made me smile and is bittersweet. The what ifs in life always get me. They say the only thing we regret is regret itself. Which is why I always try to take that step, no matter how scared I am or nervous. It is better than not knowing and wondering.
