I've just had a peek at some of these so far...but what a great reading list! No more searching for that perfect story on a cold winter evening.

If you had to pick just one story that you feel best defines you as a writer here on Literotica, what would it be?
Oh oh, that's a toughie. But I'd have to say, out of all mine...
it'd have to be "September Blue" and every time I re-read it, I start to cry. It was really hard to write because I was writing through a film of tears most of the time and that makes it really hard to see what you've written.
Inspired by the song, and here's the music to go with the story....
Just an aside... I have one story that I was tearing up at toward the end when the male protag died and the other's were morning him. And still, there was one reader, who demanded more, even though the guy that the story revolved around died.![]()
Or an ultra-kink fetish prequel, told from a mirror's POV.You might consider a zombie erotica sequel.
I can't answer the question as asked. I have only written in long series, and the two series are so radically different that I don't think either can be considered representative of my writing as a whole.
So, with the caveat that both choices drop new readers right into the middle of the respective stories, I would choose these two chapters as good representations of my work.
"Bad Girl Melissa":My Fall and Rise, Chapter 7: Iced Coffee and Blueberries
"Good Girl Melissa": Mary and Alvin, Chapter 14: The Ice Storm
Mine is the recent Winter Holiday entry; Secret Canyon. In my opinion, it is the only "real story" I've written and the longest. I think it captures the main theme that runs through all of my stories, but the extra words just make it more interesting and less rushed. It's not the highest rated, I suspect mostly due to my own lack of editing in the original version...could also be that Westerns aren't popular with most readers...and sex scenes are only a very small part of the story?
I decided to start reading "My Fall and Rise" from the beginning rather than jumping into the middle.
Thank you, I hope you'll let me know your thoughts about it.
Sure. I assume a public forum like the bulletin board or the comments section is okay?
The bulletin board is probably better for slightly longer comments and it's not tied to one particular story (I think you have ten or eleven entries in that series).
