the longer the hangover lasts. It's finally starting to fade a bit today, but I think the sunburn will take a bit longer.
For the 4th year in a row, I was at the Pottahawk Pissup on Sunday. Thousands of boats, even more thousands of boaters converge on an island in the middle of Lake Erie for a (long) day of sun, fun, and mucho booze. There are naked breasts everywhere, hopeful guys wandering around with beads hoping to see some, some thongs where they should never be, a few stubbed toes, lots of drunken stumbling, loud music, friendly people and lots of bright white skin turning steadily redder as the day moves on.
This is the highlight of the summer here for people with boats, and those lucky enough to know one. People come in from all over Ontario, Ohio, New York and other areas. Every year it gets bigger and bigger, and more and more fun. There isn't a rude person to be found as you walk for miles up and down the long lines of anchored boats.
