"Drink... Drink... Drink.... Drink..."

The chant continued, the guys, mostly jocks, pounding fists to the bar, the girls, most drunker than the guys, clapping, grinding, dancing, some stripping. It was a party after all. At a college dorm. Isn't this what happened at parties, at college??? That's what it was all about, right?

"Drink... Drink... Drink.... Drink..."

The kid at the bar was downing one shot after another, chasing it with glugs of beer in between.

"Drink... Drink... Drink.... Drink..."

Sara just shook her head. Is this what college was supposed to be all about? Hell, this was nothing more than a local community college, she could only imagine what went on at the bigger, well known party schools!!! How had she let Mandy talk her into this??? Well, Mandy was her best friend. She had been since they were kids. Mandy had always been the crazy one... the brave one... the one who took all the chances. Mandy had lost her virginity in high school, Sara was still a virgin. Mandy experimented with drinking, with pot, even with coke. Sara refused. It was a wonder how these 2 were still friends, but they were. They trusted each other.

It was Mandy that dragged Sara to the bar this night.

"Drink... Drink... Drink.... Drink..."

The kid downed one last shot of whatever it was he was drinking and promptly passed out, falling onto the dirty bar floor in a heap, much to the delight of his circle of jock buddies.

"Nice" Sara quipped, looking away. "I don't get it Mandy, how is THAT supposed to be fun??" Her friend just shrugged her shoulders. She was having a ball, considering she had already attracted a couple of guys, who were circling around her like small moons. Sure, they made a pass at Sara, which she quickly rebuffed.

"I'm heading home Mandy" she just smiled at her friend, before leaning in close "be careful.. ok"... that was her usual line to her friend. To be careful. Sara tapped her cell phone as she turned to leave, another subtle message that, if Mandy needed help, to just call. A nod was her answer. Sara was not all that worried, her friend could take care of herself, and the guys were more kids than threats.

By the time she got back to the small apartment, it was well past midnight. After taking a warm shower and making some herbal tea, Sara picked up her phone and called Isaiah... She knew he would be up, he was a nightowl, seeming to stay up until all hours of the night. She was not so much so, but it was nice to be able to call him this time of night, when she were all alone. He was her other best friend. Were they, romantically together, no, they were simply good friends who had met in college and shared alot of the same interests. In fact, other than Mandy, Isaiah was Sara's first friend in college, and again, other than Mandy, her other best friend.

They shared a love of psychology, people watching, ancient writings. They were, quite simply, a couple of nerds.

Altho Sara looked like anything BUT a nerd...

Sara Lynn Reese...

http://s1070.photobucket.com/albums/u487/RainandHeat/tumblr_m263oresFi1rom9tvo1_400.jpg

She was pretty, with shoulder length chestnut brown hair and matching deep brown eyes, that sparkled with intelligence and humor. She had an eclectic taste in clothing, often looking like a punk chick more than anything, but she was far from that. Virginal, innocent, raised in a church going home, college was really Sara's first foray into the real world. Even tho it was nothing more than the small college in the city near her hometown, she having been raised in a town of only 800 people, it was still a world away from that home.

Mandy had adjusted to college life like a fish to water. Isaiah was more like Sara, and that was one reason why they got along so well. When Mandy was out partying, picking up guys, drinking, it was Isaiah that Sara turned to. Even going so far as to sleep at his place when Mandy had new guys over at their apartment. He had never made a move on her, always being the total gentleman. There were not many left in the world like him...

This night was no different than so many others, she alone on the phone with Isaiah, Mandy out partying...

Mandy..

Isaiah Townshend had never been popular, but wasn't particularly memorable. His short dark hair and Mediterranean skin tone were just exotic enough for a second glance, but he was by no means a foreign stud. He studied hard and though he wasn't couch potato he was no jock. High school had been as unkind to him as the next nerd, but he never took it to heart. Once he'd gotten to college, his friend base had all but evaporated. He took to his favorite hobby, people watching. Most people thought it was creepy, but one day he caught someone watching him. Well, two someones. It was history from there. He'd found friendship in Sara, and to some extent, her roommate Mandy. Mandy was mostly an excuse for Sara to escape the drab and boring every-day that their town offered. Isaiah had postulated that Sara was living vicariously through Mandy on occasion though he never mentioned such a thing to her.

Outside of that, he and Sara shared many interests and they had great conversations that often went into the wee hours of the night. He felt a connection with her that he hadn't experienced with any other person. He didn't feel like he could tell her without making things weird, so he kept that thought to himself.

------------

The sound of Fur Elise distracted Isaiah from the book he was reading on psychoanalyzing the average college student throughout their careers. It was dry reading, and he was grateful to hear Sara's ringtone on his phone.

"Hey Sara. How was the bar? Did Mandy make it an early night too?"

He paused, trying to stifle his laughter. He failed miserably. They both knew that Mandy didn't understand the concept of an 'early night.' His feet went up on his coffee table as he leaned back on his couch. His dorm room was as neat and tidy, like many things in his life. Order was power. He liked knowing where things were and that all the things were as he'd placed them.

"Anyway, what's up?"

"Hey Sara. How was the bar? Did Mandy make it an early night too?"

"Yeah, right, sure she did. And the pope is currently in my bedroom wanting to fuck"

She was laughing as she said that. Mandy?? An early night?? HA, like that would ever happen. Sara just had to hope that her best friend did not some stumbling home in an hour or two, with one or more equally drunk guys. It was never pretty when they did. Sara had taken to locking her room now, when she went to bed, after that dibacle with that one guy who had snuck in thinking he was going to get more than one piece of ass that night. Sara had kicked him so hard in the balls that he was taken away by ambulance.

She heard Isaiah laughing too. They both knew Mandy well.

"Anyway, what's up?"

"Oh nothing outside of the usual. God, Isaiah.. I just don't understand that jock, let's get drunk til we puke..mentality" She shook her head. "of course there were several of them at the bar, one got so drunk he passed out, woke up, vomited, and passed out again. And you know what's even worse???"

She paused, taking a sip of her tea...

"the bubble headed cheer leader girls, or whatever they are, still fawning over his drunk ass. Makes me sick. Yeah, I know, Mandy is about as bad. I just don't understand it, but oh well"

She would never judge or dis Mandy. They had been thru so much since they were kids. Sara loved her to pieces.

"What about you, Izzie... how has your night been?" She had taken to calling him Izzie shortly after they met. She liked the way it sounded, the way it just rolled off of her tongue.

They talked for a couple of hours, until Sara heard Mandy just outside the door, along with a male voice. Great, just what she needed.

"Izzie.. want some company?"

Sara's sense of humor was so different from how people imagined it would be. Granted, her style was wildly different too. She looked every inch the 'edgy' girl, but was truly down to earth. Isaiah liked both those things about her. He laughed with her as she went on about the folly of drinking to excess and the adoration it garnered even when vile things happened. He didn't have a whole lot of experience with alcohol, and certainly wasn't a party-goer. He'd been to a few with both Sara and Mandy, but had left early; places like that made him uncomfortable.

"What about you Izzie...how has your night been?"

He smiled at his nickname. No one he'd ever been friends with had given him a special name. Not even his parents had a name like that for him.

"Well, it's been pretty uneventful. Quiet enough to read thankfully."

The hours went by without either of them noticing. Isaiah heard some background noise pick up, and Sara's next words confirmed his thoughts.

"Izzie...want some company?"

He knew what that meant. Mandy was back with some guy and they were about to get down and dirty. Sara didn't seem like the type to be squeamish about sex, but at the same time didn't want to witness the raunchy things Mandy seemed prone to.

He looked around his room; it was empty except for the bookshelves and tv, the few artworks on the walls.

"I could go for some company, yeah. Try not to trip over the happy couple on your way out!"

Isaiah laughed lightly and said goodbye, disconnecting the call and setting his phone down. He picked his book back up and began reading again. It'd take at least 15 minutes for Sara to get there, and he was almost done with this chapter. While reading, his thoughts wandered. He wondered what Sara'd be wearing...

He shook his head; why was it so easy to think about her like that? He should be a gentleman where she was concerned, but his feelings for her always took him down a different path.

"hey... sweets... heading to Isaiah's? "

It was a wonder Mandy could say anything given that the guy she had brought home, one of the "orbiting moons" that had gravitated to her at the bar, was pawing at her like a bear cub wanting to nurse from momma. Her blouse was already open, and Mandy was not wearing a bra this night, so just as the words came tumbling out of her mouth, the moon guy, as Sara thought of him, was pushing her to the wall, his mouth already seeking and locking onto her right breast.

Mandy's eyes rolled upwards as she let out a small moan, her hands going to his head, tickling thru his shirt cropped hair. His own groans filled the apartment as he pulled and nipped at the hardening nipple. His other hand pushing up her skirt, and beginning to rub at the panties that just barely covered her pussy.

Sara just shook her head and waved at Mandy as she slipped out. Was she aroused, well, it was hard not to be after seeing that. But the guy, at least to Sara, was gross, there was no way she would have given him the time of day. But, she could not deny that heat that had been awakened within her own nipples, after seeing that, hers darkening slightly, and pressing against the white tee she had thrown on to go over the Izzies. As for between her legs, she could feel a light moisture, just the barest, and as she walked the 3 blocks to his dorm, she found herself fighting the urge to .. well.. reach into her jeans and touch herself.

Sara did masturbate, but most of the time, it was in her bed, in the dark, in the quiet. Usually while listening to Mandy getting fucked in the other bedroom. She could have done the same tonight, but she just didn't feel like dealing with it. And, if she were already locked in her bedroom when Mandy got home, it was easier. Sara always worried that the guy, after getting a peice of Mandy, would come looking for another piece of ass if he knew she were there, just like that one guy had. So, it was safer to just go to Izzie's...

She made her way to his place, finding the door open and waiting for her.

"Hey Iz... " she waved as she stepped in. She loved his place. Quiet, and just so comfortably messing. Plopping herself down on the couch next to him. Her jean clad legs curling under her, the white tee riding up upon her torso just a bit.

"God, I don't know where Mandy finds these guys. He was practically fucking her right in front of me. You know, he shoved her against the wall, had her shirt open, and you know Mandy, no bra, .. he was sucking on her tit right there, in front of me. She's getting worse with this partying business... "

Isaiah looked up over his book as Sara came in. Plain white tee and jeans, and still she looked stunning. He smiled and set the book on the table as she sat down, turning slightly to face her.

"Wow. That's pretty brazen, even for Mandy. One of these days she'll get tired of it. Yeah...probably not."

He laughed, but his mind could easily see Mandy getting mauled by some drunken frat boy in a hallway. His eyes wandered to the hem of Sara's tee, just barely letting a peek of her midriff show. In his thoughts it was suddenly Sara pushed up against a wall, his hands and mouth tugging and pulling at her nipple. He literally jumped as the thought vanished. He was quick to cover it.

"Heh, cold chill. You want something to drink?"

It was only a few steps to the kitchenette of his dorm. Pulling open the door to the fridge, he saw he had bottled water, a few leftover beers from his roommate and a half-finished bottle of Johnnie Walker whiskey. Isaiah wasn't prone to drinking, but he did indulge on rare occasions. He'd had some of that liquor and discovered that it wasn't terrible. The warm tingle that it gave him made him all the more aware of how people could get addicted to it. Luckily his self-control was more than average.

"Heh, cold chill. You want something to drink?"

Sara didn't drink, not really. Oh she would enjoy a glass of wine at dinner perhaps, if it were a special occassion, but alcohol just was not her thing. Tonight tho, she was just in the mood. Mandy had pushed it tonight with her, between that bar, and then bringing that kid home. She knew she was going to have to have a talk with her. That apartment was her home too. You would have thought she would have learned after the kicking the kid in the balls incident.

Sara saw the whiskey when he opened the door.

"sure, I'll take a half a shot of that whiskey and a bottle of water."

She had to shake her head at the empty fridge. Izzie and his roommate never had any real food. Mostly just left over pizza or chinese food.

Mmmm Chinese food, that sounded really good about now. She wondered of that chinese place in town were still open?

She plopped herself down on the old couch. She loved it here.. and sometimes wished she had just roomed with Izzie and sent Izzie's roommate to stay with Mandy. Hell, Mandy wouldn't care, she thought his roomie was cute.

"You know Iz... sometimes it would just be better if I lived here with you and we sent your roomie to live with Mandy. Ha, she'd keep him pretty happy I bet... " she giggled at that, smiling as he brought her the drink. Yeah, she could so easily live here. "As it is, I think I'll just stay here tonight if that's ok with you. I just don't have it in me to deal with another drunk kid thinking he's gonna get 2 pieces of ass instead of just 1 "

"Live here? I dunno...I might bore you to death...though I do believe our roomies would have a ball together."

He returned to his seat next to Sara on the couch, sipping his own drink. Her mention of the night the guy had nearly mauled her still made him angry. Guys like that deserved to get their heads kicked in.

"So, yeah...wanna see what's on tv?"

Isaiah heard a tiny gurgling noise, looking over at her with an amused grin. He knew that sound too well. Many nights had gone on without dinner because he got caught up reading something or studying or building some test apparatus for class. He'd had a small bite to eat earlier, but he could definitely go for dinner part two.

Setting down his drink, ice tinkling gently, he turned to face her again. There he went again, eyeing her figure. He quickly caught himself and reached for his phone.

"You hungry? We could see who's still delivering...."

"You hungry? We could see who's still delivering...."

"starving"

She wasn't sure whose stomach gurgled, hers or his. But hells yes, she was hungry. The bar had no real food, not that she would eat there anyways. Bar good was just gross.

"Check out Yong Shing, that chinese place over on.. what it is.. Main Street. I bet their still open" She could go for some chinese right about now. "Heck maybe we can even walk down and get it. It's a beautiful night out, warm, clear"

She liked that idea. She often thought that Izzie didn't get out of that room enough. His roommate as not quite the partyer that Mandy was, but he did his fair share. He was some kind of jock, soccer she thought. She found most jocks to be just as useless as the guys in the bar. Wait, most of them WERE jocks. That was why.

"I want an order of Lo Mein and Teryaki Chicken" there went her belly again, she giggling as she rubbed a small hand over the smooth skin.

Just as he was placing the order, said room mate came stumbling in. He had obviously been drinking, his eyes were red, and he could barely stand up.

"Hey roomie" he did a half hearted wave to Isaiah before his bloodshot eyes settled on the girl. "oh ... hi.... Sara" He just stared, blatantly. It was not lost her here that he was, well, looking her up and down, hell he always did. "You look pretty tonight, has my man Isaiah here been treating you good? Been a gentleman?" Now that was a stupid question, she thought. It was HIM she would have to worry about.

"Just fine Greg, just fine" her voice held a very cold edge to it.

"Come on Iz, let's go get our late night snack"

"Oh I have a late night snack for you honey, right here" Greg laughed, grabbing his crotch.

"C'mon Greg...seriously?"

That was Isaiah's only reply as his roommate came in, propositioning Sara and being his usual drunken self. When he was sober he wasn't so bad, but get a few beers in him and it was curtains.

Isaiah slugged back the rest of his whiskey and stood up, checking his pockets to make sure he had his dorm key before turning to Sara.

"Ok, they said like 20 minutes. That'll be enough time to get down there. You ready?"

Isaiah didn't like to be around when Greg was this way, and having Sara here was only going to egg him on. That would end very poorly if he tried anything. The time it took to go pick up their food and get back should be enough time for him to rummage around in the dorm then pass out in his room.

He quickly made his way over to the door, keeping himself between Greg and Sara, saying with a laugh over his shoulder, "Yeah, a snack because you're only fun-sized!"

The sound of Greg's drunken laughter was muffled by the closing door.

"So, shall we?"

Good Lord his roommate was obnoxious. Sure, he was a bit easier to take than alot of the guys she saw when hanging out with Mandy. But still, he just had to make an ass out of himself.

Thank the stars that Izzie wasn't like that. Sheesh...

"fun-sized" Sara giggled, repeating back what he had said to Greg. "That.. was a good one. I'm gonna have to remember to use that someday when some idiot is being an ass" her smile lit up her face as they headed out into the darkness.

Being out this late never really bothered her. Not in this neighborhood. She'd never walk alone or even with Iz, if it were the city, not at this time of night, or better yet, morning. But here, there were no worries at all. The Chinese place was only around the corner.

It was a bit chilly, and Sara found herself shivering just a bit, the slight breeze seeming to wake up her nipples that was for sure, they suddenly peaking a bit thru the thin tee shirt she was wearing. Unlike Mandy earlier, she was also wearing a bra, but that did little to hide the small swells beneath the cotton.

As they rounded the corner and entered the Chinese place, the girl behind the counter smiled, but the cook, peeking from the back, he could not help but gawk.

Isaiah found it hard not to keep glancing at Sara's chest as they walked. The cold breeze was raising her nipples to hardened peaks, poking out even against her bra. He was thankful to get to Yong Shing, though he did notice the cook glancing out into the lobby. He definitely wasn't staring at him.

They got their order, two bags full of food, and turned to leave.

"Hopefully Greg's passed out by the time we get back..."

And sure enough, Isaiah's roommate was nowhere in sight as the two made it into the dorm. The food was removed from its packaging, utensils were grabbed, and they proceeded to chow down. The TV provided background noise to the evening, and they smiled and laughed like they usually did together.

Isaiah felt that familiar tingle in his stomach, the one that most people equated with butterflies. Sara always brought that out in him...he wasn't sure how he dealt with it on a regular basis, but he did. Sometimes he wondered if she felt the same. Probably not.

He shrugged to himself and kept eating; his food was almost gone, but he still decided to be cheeky and steal some of Sara's, spearing a bite and popping it into his mouth.

"HA!"

She had not realized just how hungry she was until they got back to his room and started opening the containers. Everything smelled soooo good.

Of course she did not stuff her face like Izzie did. She had to smile watching him. He was cute. Where as she would sample this and taste that, he would eat one thing, then move on to the other, eat that, then move on to the other. He was always like that, she realized, no matter what he ate. She thought it was adorable.

"HA"

"Hey... eat your own food, pest"
she tried to spear his hand with the chopstick, missing. She the stole a piece of chicken from his food, waving it in front of his face before she popped it into her mouth, giggling. She the went after him again with the chopstick, and the two of them ended up rolling onto the floor, wrestling. She was giggling, because he knew she was ticklish and exactly where, which was soooo not fair. A moment later she was trapped under him, he straddling her, that "i'm gonna tickle you" look on his face.

She took a breath, readying herself when they both heard it.

The unmistakable moaning coming from Greg's room. They both went silent to listen. It was obvious he was jacking off, once they quieted down they could hear that slapping sound as well. Sara had to cover her mouth with her hand to keep from bursting out laughing yet again. Greg was always entertaining, that's for sure.

Food fighting turned into wrestling and they were laughing and poking each other and somehow he wound up straddling her on the floor. Just before he could realize the compromising position they were in, Sara raised a finger to her lips, signaling to listen for something.

They both heard it at the same time, Isaiah sliding off of her as he cocked his head to the side, trying to make sure he was hearing this correctly. Yes, it was definitely Greg, beating off in his room, though to what, he wasn't sure. While Sara suppressed her laughter, Isaiah couldn't.

"Oh man...I can't believe that. Maybe he doesn't realize we're here. I wonder who he's fantasizing about?"

Isaiah's cheeks got very red all of a sudden. He was recalling the numerous times he'd been in a similar situation; shut up in his room and fantasizing about...well, about Sara. He would never tell her that. He tried to recover from his embarrassment by continuing his previous statement.

"Probably some drunk girl he couldn't pick up from the party he was at..."

He laughed, but part of his mind had a better idea of who he was jerking it to.

"Oh man...I can't believe that. Maybe he doesn't realize we're here. I wonder who he's fantasizing about?"

The look on Izzie's face was priceless. Sara didn't think Iz would get embarrassed in front of her about anything. They had shared alot, from talking about sex to talking about school, to talking about what they wanted to do in life, kids, where they wanted to live... At various times, the 2 of them had talked about almost everything. Yet, here he was, red in the face because his drunk room mate was being a bit loud while jacking off.

Heck, it wasn't like Sara hadn't heard it before. She had 3 older brothers. Never mind her own crazy room mate/best friend and hearing her just all out have loud, noisy, messy sex. Poor Izzie was red in the face, she was unphased.

"Loud enough isn't he" she could not help but giggle, playfully poking Iz in the belly. "I wonder if he's that loud when he fucks. You would know. Is he loud, a screamer? A grunter? or silent?? I can tell you that Mandy is soooo fucking loud. She screams, talks, swears.. some of the guys she fucks are just as loud, where as others are just, well... quiet, until that big moment...yanno"

Sara thought it all was just playful and funny. None of it bothered her. Did she masturbate when hearing her room mate? Sometimes, it was hard not to get aroused with some of the sounds that came from Mandy's room...

That made her wonder if Isaiah jacked off. She knew he was not one to just fuck any girl he met. He was like her in that mindset. But Greg, well, he was Mandy with a dick. He'd fuck almost anything, or so he professed. And Sara knew for a fact that he brought girls home, Iz had come to her place for the same reason she was here tonight, to not have to listen to another session of fucking. But.....when he did, did he jack off too? That was a question she had never really outright and asked her friend....

"He sounds like a dying wildebeest. Grunts and groans and...yeah, it's bad."

Isaiah was glad to have another distraction from his previous thoughts. Though Sara seemed totally fine with hearing his roommate whacking it. Living with Mandy must have numbed her to it, which wasn't a bad thing. If it weren't for the secondary mental images, he'd be fine too.

He realized he was still straddling Sara. His blush got even deeper as he hopped up, offering her a hand to get off the floor. Their food was mostly demolished and it was actually starting to get late. Isaiah's room was past Greg's, so they'd have to go right past ground-zero. The way Greg was going at it, it was a wonder that he hadn't exploded and passed out in a sticky mess by now. Probably just too drunk to finish up, Isaiah mused.

"Well, let's pack up the leftovers and call it a night. As amusing as it is hearing him go to town, we should probably both try to get some sleep."

He reached for the containers, closing them and stacking them before carrying most of them over to the fridge, where they just might sit until a midnight snack craving pulled him to the kitchen.
