You can wish that someone dies of cancer, gets hit by a bus, is struck by lightning, catches a horrible cold that causes them to booger out of every orifice.
What you can't do is discuss how you are going to kill/harm someone, solicit ideas for killing/harming someone, suggest that others kill/harm someone.
Intent is a tricky thing. You may be joking and have no intention of hurting anyone. You may not be joking. We don't want to try to determine your intent. For this reason, we remove - and have always removed, for years and years - any threads/posts reported to us suggesting plans to hurt/kill other users or real people. Even if they are obviously ridiculous or obviously a joke.
And yes, this thread is stupid. And yes, it's sad that someone is so scared of another online poster that they can't flame them under their real name.
But neither of those are bannable offenses.
Your attention is currency here. How you spend it determines the tone of the forums.
Spend your attention on stupid threads and stupid threads will multiply.
Choose instead to read and contribute to cool funny witty ones, and you'll get more of those.
