In most of the ways that matter to me, Muff is a good person. She's loyal and honest to those she calls 'friend' but that fact doesn't excuse them from her sometimes scathing remarks and retorts. She's honest and real to and with herself to an astounding degree. We call that integrity in my neck of the woods, and she's got it in spades. If she tells you you've been an asshole, better look for some poop. If she tells you that you did good, you can shine a smile on all. You can trust her not to bullshit you. And when she's wrong, she apologizes without being poked into it, fully and without reticence.
She is blunt.
She is not tactful.
She does rant and rave.
An intelligently *real* woman, she's got a heart as least as big as her home state. She's my very good friend, is Muff, and i'm glad for that.
