You know they're out there. Those folks who have said time and again that they'll get something done, then never do. Those who have such and such follow-up story in the works, just like it's been for months. Those who have promised phone calls then never actually push the buttons on the phone.

i admit to being one of them.

So, who needs their ass kicked into gear, and what for?

I need to quit spending so much time hanging out here and get to work on my thesis. I thought it was due next month but then found out I have another year, and that pulled the batteries right out of the cattle prod.

I need to quit spending so much time hanging out here and get to work on my thesis. I thought it was due next month but then found out I have another year, and that pulled the batteries right out of the cattle prod.

thesis done --> graduate --> high paying job --> send cash to friendly Lit AH'ers

I haven't written anything bar one poem (latest submission, if you haven't read it, please do so.), for the last year.

I have at least 10 partly written stories languishing in my ideas folder;

Emerald Kitten is patiently awaiting my input to her wonderful beginning to Cut and Dried Part II,

I haven't even opened my sketch pad in the almost 6 weeks I've been here, nor have I done any woodcraft,

I owe so many people letters and cards, that is almost becoming ridiculous.

How many arse kicks for that lot???
